The service appointment went very smoothly and the repairman even cleaned up after himself. We decided not to repair our microwave due to the cost of parts but I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again. Just a note - the repairman takes cash or check not credit card for a method of payment.
Description of Work: We had Hometown Appliance come out to repair our Over the Range Microwave (Fridigidaire model) in July. We wanted to know if it was worth repairing or to go buy a new one. My appointment window was from 3-4pm. The repairman arrived at 4:05pm. He was extermely courteous and knowledgable about our model of microwave. He figured out quickly what the problem was (short in circuit board) and called the office to get an estimate of parts & labor. This was a builder installed microwave. The estimate to repair was nearly $300 in parts alone not including labor. He advised that it was not worth repairing since our microwave was already over 7 years old. The cost for the house visit and consultant was very reasonable at $48.57. I would highly recommend Hometown Appliance to anyone needing appliance repair service.
