This was my first experience with Angie's list. When a large limb from the neighbor's maple tree fell on my property in a snowstorm, I searched Angie's list for tree services and contacted three companies for estimates. I chose Hayden's Ridge Tree Service because of their prompt response, professionalism, and great pricing. Highly recommend Tony and Hayden's Ridge Tree Service!

Hayden's Ridge Tree Service, a family business, was a pleasure to work with. Tony came to give us an estimate the same day we called. He was very knowledgeable and straightforward. The estimate was very reasonable given the large amount of work to be done (and he added a 10% Angie's list discount). Their work was absolutely top-notch. Tony and his team were extremely professional, methodical, and their attention to detail was excellent. Our trees had never been professionally trimmed, so there was a lot of work to be done. I was impressed that they raked up and carried all branches, twigs, and other debris up to the curb--which was a bit of a hike on our large yard. And there was a LOT of debris. They did not drive any vehicles on the lawn. After a great job and a full day of work, they left the yard and street in front of the house looking better than when they arrived. I strongly recommend Tony and his team! We'll have them back next year to complete the trees we did not have trimmed this year.

Met with Tony (Hayden) on Saturday, October 2. The fact that he came out on a Saturday morning to give me an estimate was hugely appreciated. The crew came on Wednesday, October 6 and removed two very large brush piles from the 23 year old junipers that had overgrown the front of my home. They also trimmed an arbrovitae. They returned on Friday (as advertised!) to grind away the juniper stumps and finish clean up. The work was timely, professional, and very well done. Thanks, Tony!

We had two trees marked for Dutch Elm disease. I called for an estimate and Tony arrived that afternoon. Of the three companies that bid the job, they were the lowest. The first tree had 3 trunks, all tangled in overhead lines, and was next to a fence. The second tree had grown into an old wire fence and was next to the neighbor's garage. The third tree had a very large branch that had broken and landed in the tree beside it. When they arrived, I also asked them to trim up a fourth tree. They got right to work and finished cutting the trees very quickly. Everything was cleaned up - every twig and leaf, plus they hauled away extra brush from behind the garage. They left the yard cleaner than they found it. The following Tuesday, Tony's Dad (who is the owner of the company) ground the stump on the first tree and left us nice fresh mulch, which we put to good use. I didn't realize until after the bill was paid and he had left that they didn't charge us for the work on the fourth tree. I highly recommend Hayden's Ridge - they are very professional and put customer service first. They're our "tree guys" now.

Tony came out on a Sunday to give the estimate -- he gave us a several options depending on how much we wanted to tackle & a discount dependent on the amount to be done as well. We decided to do some of the clean-up work ourselves, which was work for us -- but saved budgeted $ and allowed us to have more pruning done. They were very professional & the job was completed in a day. One of the stumps & surface roots (Large Silver Maple) covered about 400 sq ft (yes 400 -- it was crazy). Once they were done with that & I'd hauled out about 5yds of mulch -- you'd never have know any of it was there.

Tony returned my call for an estimate and came on time. He came with a crew of 5 (on time) on the scheduled day and worked several hours. They worked fast and efficient. I can't say enough about the quality and neatness of the job! Tony and his crew are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HARD WORKERS with nice personalities. They will be back again in the fall to band the oak tree and do more tree trimming for us. I wouldn't hesitate to use the Hayden's Tree Service if you need any tree or yard work job...large or small. They finished up the job by sweeping the street and neighbors area too! Price was VERY REASONABLE for such quality work!!!!!

Tony left a door hanger. I checked him out on Angie's list, saw he had a good review, and gave him a call. He was over within a week to look at the site/work and promptly followed up with the estimate. I called him back to let him know we'd like his help and he promptly returned my call and scheduled a time for the next week. He and his crew arrived as scheduled and did the work. While here he noted he had a supplemental recommendation for preservation of our tree and quoted me a discounted price. We accepted the recommendation and his crews had the additional work done within the following week. Tony and his crew are professional and delivered good work. We'd definitely work with him again.

They responded to our emails within a days time, and were very accommodating to our requests of how to utilize some of the wood (for firewood and lumber), even after we went back and forth a few times on what we wanted to do with them. They cleaned up very well, and made quick and impressive work of our trees. They were very professional in their approach to felling the trees in their execution and attention to safety. I have already recommended them to a number of friends looking for tree removal.

In purchasing our new home, it was evident the yard had not been maintained in years (older residents). Tony is a certified arborist, and was able to assess the condition of the trees on the property. We had six trees removed (either dead,damaged or diseased) & the stumps ground down. Tony worked with the city forester to have a seventh tree removed by the city (no cost to us). We have a Silver Maple tree overhanging the house - Tony suggested cabling the branches, so that if they were ever to break off they would not land on the roof. Tony and crew worked tirelessly all day (8 AM - 6:30 PM). Every leaf, twig and branch was removed from our yard; they even swept the street and cleaned in the neighbors' yard.
