Description of Work: The tallest elm tree in our yard split down the trunk during a winter wind storm, and fortunately did not fall. However, we were concerned it would fall during another wind so after reading many reviews of Hayden's Ridge, we had them out to give an estimate. This tree was in a very difficult location in our yard, next to a mature oak, mature pine, our neighbor's fence, and our deck. The day after I called, they came out and left an estimate. I called that night, and they returned my call the next day to set up an appointment for within a few days. Unfortunately, the day they were scheduled to come to my home there was ice and couldn't get out on the roads. They called and rescheduled as soon as they realized they wouldn't be able to do the work. They showed up on the coldest day of winter with a crew of 3-4. They climbed the tree, secured the branches to be cut, cut and lowered the branches to avoid any damage to my neighbor's home, my home and the surrounding trees. The tree was expertly removed, the clean up was excellent. Besides battling the cold, their chipper broke before the day was out, so they arranged for the wood to be picked up by another company. I was not charged for any of the work until the job was completed in full and to my complete satisfaction. Extremely professional and very polite, neat and skilled. I will have them out to take care of the stump removal in the spring.

Description of Work: I have found my new tree care company! I bought a home with a pond in the back yard and the previous owner had allowed several trees to fall into the water. Additionally I have 16 oaks on the property, a couple of very large elms and pines, and other random trees. I contacted Hayden's Ridge for an estimate to remove and haul away the trees in the pond (I wanted it done when it was frozen so they could get to them easier as they were on the far edge,) remove one oak from the front yard, and trim all other trees in the yard (Hayden's "coarse trim.") Tony Hayden came out exactly when promised and gave me a reasonable estimate. I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge and professionalism. I accepted his bid and he asked me to call him and let him know when the pond was completely frozen over; we tentatively planned the following week during a cold snap. On the following Monday I called Tony and told him the pond was definitely frozen enough. He scheduled the job for that Thursday morning. From first contact until job completion was one week. On Thursday morning the workers (4) arrived. They were incredibly efficient and did the job in about 5 hours. Their cleanup was meticulous and the job was exactly what we agreed it would be, and the price paid was exactly what was in the estimate. I could not be a bigger fan of this company and their outstanding work.

Description of Work: Performed basic tree trimming around the yard and cut down/removed a big branch that had been struck by lightening.

Description of Work: Removed a very large River Birch tree that had 4 separate trunks. The tree was adjacent to our deck and had many branches that hung over our house as well as our next door neighbor's house.

Description of Work: Large front yard oak tree needed significant pruning to remove old and broken branches Crew came out and pruned and cleaned up the tree and removed all branches and leaves from the yard. It was quickly, cleanly, and efficiently done

Description of Work: I called Haydens for needed work at our church's property. We had been using volunteers to cut down saplings and some larger trees as well as storm clean up. We had rented a chipper which broke. The job became too big for the volunteers and we were looking for someone to come finish the job. There were 2 huge brush piles on the property and over 15 trees cut down in another area of the property.We had a special function coming up and wanted to make sure it was done well before then. Tony was very responsive. He came out and provided an estimate which included a map of the property with the work areas clearly marked. His price was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Hayden's did a fantastic job removing 12 trees. Showed up the day after the initial call to provide an estimate. We asked for the estimate to be broken out by dropping the trees only, removing the trees from property and grinding stumps. The estimate was broken out just as requested in professional clear writing. We had gotten other estimates that were not so clear as to the service or very legible. All in all Hayden's was not the lowest price but definitely the most professional. When we called to make the arrangements for the service we wanted it to be done within the week hoewver they were booked out for about a month but they would see what they could do. The next day we received a phone call saying they were able to pull a team together for Saturday if that would be ok, which it was. The team showed up at 8:30 on Saturday morning with all equipment necessary. The crew of 4 spent the next 7 hours dropping and grinding the trees. Everyone on the crew was very respectful and curteous to every request we had on the fly. The stumps were not able to be removed that day and they would not accept any money until the job was commpleted in full. The following Saturday two of the crew members came back to grind the stumps and we settled our bill.
