They came in on short notice, were right on schedule, and they did excellent work. They added a tree climber to lower branches.

They did a superb job! They were very responsive, punctual, friendly, and professional! I highly recommend their services.

I called for an estimate. No one answered so I left a message on the answering machine. About 2 weeks later I received a call from this company asking if I was still interested in an estimate. Obviously I was no longer interested.

The team from Hayden's did great. They knew just what to do, and quickly set up and then removed the large limb piece by piece. There was no damage to the house at all. They also cleaned up the wood debris so that there was no evidence that they were even there. I would not hesitate using them again. They did indicate that it might be a while before they could get to our house. And it did take them about two weeks to get to us. That was my only concern in that I didn't want the limb to completely break and fall on the house or me! But all worked out in the end.

Tony came out and gave me an estimate of what it would cost to take this tree down and grind the stump as well as trim two evergreen trees. Tony and his crew were on time, and professional. They did a great job, it was very interesting to watch them take this tree down. They brought a chipper to chip the tree up as it came down. They took the tree down in a way as to reduce much of the wear and tear on the yard/grass. The larger pieces they hauled away in a truck. They raked the area affected, and used a leaf blower to clean up the area. They got up on my roof to blow any wood chips off that as well. It took them 5 hours to complete the entire job. They came back a few days later to grind the stump (needed to make sure there were no underground gas/electrical/water). They cleaned up all the wood chips and hauled them away as well. Great job Tony and crew! Thank you so much.

When Hayden Ridge person came (I believe it's the owner himself) to do the estimate, I told him we would like to have them leave the trees trunks for us to use as firewood. They said they would cut the tree trunks to firewood size sections and leave them at our property. Well, when they came to cut the trees, they left the tree trunks to about 10 feet long pieces. I asked them to cut it shorter and they would not. I said I had told you we would use them as firewood and needed them shorter like regular firewood. They would not agree and just left us with a pile of bit long trunks. We would not let them do the work had we known that's what they would do. Plus, I asked them while they were here and it would not take them much to cut them to smaller sections. We ended up hiring other people to cut them for us again. We would not use them again.

Wow. The other reviews on this site are right on. We had 5 pine trees touching our house that needed to be removed, along with 3 hanging over the driveway and one leaner in the backyard. Oh-and 4 trees surround our deck that needed pruning (we were getting very tired of playing pick up sticks every weekend). Service consisted of tree and stump removal for those near the house, and tree removal only (left stumps) for the other 4. Prompt with the estimate, and Tony was helpful in suggesting what we would want to and not want to do. Since this is round one of tree removal (we were trying to stay within a budget), he had very helpful suggestions as to what to do now and what could be done later. At the time of the estimate, Tony guessed they were about 3-4 weeks out for service. However, due to a cancellation we were able to get our work performed earlier. In fact, they did all the work in one day. We are very pleased with the work that was done and are already looking at the rest of the yard and what phase 2 might entail. We will definitely be using this service again.

Is it possible to love a tree service company? If so, I love these guys. Granted it was a stroke of luck - I happened to call about a dangling branch from storms on Friday morning and they asked if they could get to my house on Saturday morning due to priority cases of trees on houses. Friday night another storm came through and my Saturday morning job of trimming out one dangling branch became a yardful of debris clean up and trimming up of a large catalpa. Instead of rescheduling due to the increased scope of the project - which I expected - they rolled up their sleeves and got to work. Three hours later, Travis, Ben, and Mike had my yard cleaned up, saved my catalpa tree (I thought it would have to come down), picked up my downed fence pieces, cut and stacked a nice pile of firewood, raked up all smaller pieces in the yard, and took care of the ice cream melting in the freezer because I lost power. My yard looked better than it did before the storm. Thanks guys! If you're ever back in my neighborhood call - I'll take you all out for a beer.

Tom Hayden provided a prompt and fair estimate; he was a good communicator. The Hayden Ridge team was skilled and quick, they took every precaution while on the property not to damage other trees, shrubs or the yard. They came back in a timely manner to grind the stumps. We used them at another property to remove a large maple tree and again they were prompt, skilled and cleaned up all debris as promised. We were please with their work and friendly and professional manner. Three thumbs up!

Tony's crew arrived on time and ready to work :) Travis was the contact person on the job, with two other workers. Travis and I went to the back yard and reviewed what was to be done. I went back in the house and the crew went to work. I was so suprised at how easy they made the work look, the Maples are over 27 years old and very tall, but that wasn't an issue with these guys. Large limbs were taken down, cut up and stacked to use in our backyard fire pit. The enitire process took serveral hours, which included cleaning up. Branches and all other debis was removed as the work was done, taken to a chipper/shredder that was parked in front of my home. Once the job was completed you would have never known work was done, every little thing was swept up, including the street, my yard was cleaner than when they arrived. They stopped by on a Sunday to estimate the services I needed and left a note on my door. I was very surprised they stopped by so soon and were about $100 less than the other estimates I received. I called and set up an appointment that day. Since it is an (100 year old) elm tree they wanted to get it done right away so he offered to come up the following Wednesday. He said I didn't need to be there and he would just leave the bill. I appreciated not having to take time off of work and prayed I could trust them to do a good job. Well, they did a wonderful job. They had to remove a lot of dead wood, trim it away from my house, from power lines, and they had to do this while it snowed! I came home to the tree taken care of and they cleaned up everything quite nicely. My tree looks just beautiful now. Many thanks to Hayden's Ridge and I will definitely use them again in the future.

Clear communication. On time. Reasonably priced. Very slick service all the way through. I started to trust him when he knew the names of all the trees we talked about. Even recommended we not cut one tree for good reasons.

AWESOME. These guys know what they are doing and care about doing a great job. They were totally professional and left my yard looking great. (I needed a row of lilacs removed from south side of back yard, a row of ugly shrubs removed from the north side to make way for a privacy fence going in next week.) They had all the needed equiment and took down the branch and finished off the bare surface and took all the branches away. They came the same day that I called and are coming back to inject my ash tree. They will charge $240 for an injection that will last for two years. Other estimates were $300 for this service.

Have left several messages and have yet to get a return call! Not good business at all!

After browsing through all the top tree trimmers on Angie's List and getting quotes from 7 different businesses we went with Hayden's. I asked for a quote online and Tony (the owner) came out and gave me an estimate in a few days. He was the cheapest of the quotes and I liked the fact that they have an arborist. We got on their schedule and the job was completed in two weeks. They showed up on-time and ready to work. I would definitely recommend them to others...awesome job from start to finish!!

Found on Angie's list - a success story! Seamless from start to finish. I made initial request via their website/customer inquiry and heard within hours. I didn't have to be home for the quotation process, approval process to begin work, for the actual removal/chopping up of the tree, or the stump removal. From start to finish approx 1-1.5 weeks, but I was in no special hurry. Hayden's Ridge just dropped off their invoice and it will go out in the mail tomorrow. Great price and fabulous, seamless service!

We went with this company because the quote was reasonable and they came well recommended. In addition to the large broken branch on the big tree in our yard, Tony recommended cutting a few smaller branches off of other trees. As he is an arborist, I wanted his advice about how many branches to cut off of the big tree. I told him that we wanted to preserve the tree but cut off whatever was not healthy. He listened to my request and followed through. In addition, they cut the wood into 18-inch pieces for firewood - a nice extra service. I noticed after they left that there were a few smaller tree limbs that were hanging over the roof of the house on the front and side of the house. I had not asked for those to be cut back, but I would have liked it if when assessing the requested job they had recommended that we cut those branches back, too. I would have been glad to pay extra for the work. Nevertheless, they did a fine job and I would recommend them to anyone. They were on time, worked in nasty weather, took extra care not to mark up our yard with the truck, and cleaned up afterwards. A very good job.

I called late in the afternoon and Tony was still able to come give an estimate that same afternoon. He was very personable yet very efficient and professional. When I explained how necessary it was to have the work completed by the next day he was completely accommodating. Tony and his crew arrived right on time (actually early) quickly completed the work and cleared away all debris

One of the trees was close to our garage with a 10 foot branch hanging over the roof. They had a team of two guys working together to remove it piece by piece. It was fun to watch as one guy climbed the tree and attached ropes before making each cut as the guy on the ground directed them down safely away from the garage. Once they had the tree down to a stump less than a foot tall (mind you the tree was a good 30 feet tall) they ran everything through a monster chipper. Then they took the time to get out a ladder and a leaf blower and clean all of the sawdust and every twig off the garage roof! They came back a few days later and ground out all three stumps. Then they raked up everything and if you walked by you would never have known a tree had ever been there.

I had five large trees that I needed trimmed. I called on a Saturday on the off chance that some one would answer the phone. Tony answered, was in the area, and was at my home within an hour or so to give me an estimate. He was polite, professional and thorough, explaining exactly what he would do with each tree, giving me an estimate that was much lower than I expected. Although he let me know that the job would be about two weeks out, he called me in a few days to let me know that they could be there on Thursday. The crew came out, on time or earlier, I can't remember exactly. They immediately went to work, they were fast, clean up was fabulous, and when I asked for anything that could be used as fire wood to be left, it wasn't just left where it fell, it was stacked neatly in piles. The huge branches that hung over the house were removed with precision. I am very pleased with every aspect of this company's work; the 10% Angie's List discount didn't hurt, but I would hire them again regardless.
