The estimate arrived at my door shortly after I purchased a "deal" on Angie's List. Although at first the owner thought it might be 6 to 8 weeks before the work could be done, and I agreed to that, the owner soon let me know that they would be able to do it much sooner. I was glad because the branches could have damaged the house and garage roofs. The workers appeared on the day agreed on; they worked efficiently and cleaned up all the branches that were trimmed. I would hire this company again.

Tony was very professional. He was able to provide a very competitive bid after walking the property with me. When it came time to do the work, they contacted me several days before they were coming to let me know when they would arrive. On the day of the work, Tony and the crew arrived on time and started work immediately. They were thorough in the trimming and cleaned up after they were done. I highly recommend Hayden's Ridge Tree Service.

They trimmed several of my trees. Because this was done with 8" of snow they were unable to pick up many of the small twigs. They did their best considering the circumstances so I must say they did a better than average job.

Trimmed very large tree. I think they did an ok job. I wanted to be home when they performed the work, but my husband was there instead. I'm not sure why they left some of the branches they did (perhaps this was for the health of the tree). I wanted more of the lower branches cut away. Overall, good experience and good clean up.

The work was done quickly and in a timely manner. I really appreciated the fact that we were kept updated on schedule changes that cropped up and in the end we were happy with the results.

On the day, the crew showed up on time and we again discussed what was to be done. Everything was done quickly and efficiently with no apparent problems. Excellent cleanup as well. Will definitely use again.

The clean up was excellent and they were on time. They were very easy to work with. I have not used them before but I will use them again in the future.

Project went very quickly. Tony and his team were extraordinarily professional and did an excellent job getting the tree down safely and maintaining the yard. Other than the missing grass where the stump was, we would have never know they were there. The pricing was competitive. We were very happy.

The crew arrived as scheduled and did a substantial pruning job on a large oak tree. They were professional and did a good job cleaning up. Highly recommended.

Excellent. This is the 3rd time I've used them & have been very happy each time. The past two they've done the work w/out me being home & I provided payment later over the phone. They're very convenient & do quality work.

Initially purchased the $200 worth of tree service for $99 deal on Angie's List. Mr Hayden was prompt in proving a written estimate for the work I wanted done. I had 5 large River Birch trees in my front yard that needed pruning after many years of going without. Within a couple weeks Tony called and notified me when his crew would be out. He and his crew of 3 men arrived the next morning and, in spite of the frigid temperature and significant wind, proceeded to climb up into the trees and went to work. I was impressed by their agility, swinging from the trees in rope harnesses like veritable acrobats removing limbs and branches with practiced skill. They performed professionally throughout the work, honoring my request to leave some branches in place for esthetic purposes. When they were finished, they removed all the cut limbs and branches, raking the grounds thoroughly before leaving. The whole process took less than 2 hours to complete. They were all pleasant, professional and thorough in their work. I would gladly recommend Hayden's Ridge Tree Service to anyone needing their services.

Overall, I gave them points for honoring my expired Groupon, & being punctual & efficient on the job. I deducted points for how difficult it was to reach someone (without playing phone tag several times) & for how difficult it was to schedule an appointment. Even though they appeared to do quality work (I have no prior experience to compare it to), I would probably not use them again in the future because of my busy schedule and my preference for scheduling appointments at least 1 week in advance. Details: Usually whenever I called no one answered the phone. They did call back the same day or next day when I left a message, but it was difficult to get in touch with them because I couldn't always answer when they returned my call. The first time I spoke to someone on the phone after receiving a free estimate (which they did when I was not home, so I wasn't able to ask questions or get details in person), I was told it would probably be 1-2 months before they could schedule me and that they would call me when it got closer to that time. I said that was fine. They said they would still honor my Groupon's promotional price, even though it would likely expire before they could do the work (because they were so busy). About 1 month later I called to check in, to see if I could schedule a date yet, because I wanted to take the day off & schedule a few other appointments the same day. They still weren't sure exactly how long it would be / when they could schedule me, and said they had to wait until they got another job in the area & that they'd let me know. I said ok, but that I needed advance notice so that I could take the day off. They said I didn't have to be home, but I wanted to, so they said they'd schedule me 1st thing, at 8:00 a.m., so I could still go to work. I said that would be great, but that I still needed to know a couple days in advance. About 3 weeks later I got a phone message at almost 8:00 p.m saying they were coming out the next morning. I called back & left a message saying that would not work, and that I needed more notice. The next day I spoke to the owner who said they scheduled me last minute due to the weather, and that he would make a note saying I need to know at least a full day in advance before they come out. He said he does the schedule for the week each Sunday and that I could expect a call on a Sunday night, but that it may be another 4-8 weeks. About 1 week later he called on Sunday to see if that Thurs. at 8:00 a.m. worked. They arrived on time and seemed to complete the work efficiently and accurately.

We played telephone tag for a couple of days but finally got together and I showed them what I needed. Two days later the crew came and did an excellent job....on time, trimmed the trees exactly to my expectations, and cleaned up the area so you could'nt tell anybody had been there. I am definitely very satisfied.

We contracted for a three-man crew for a full day. We have a heavily wooded lot and there was much work to be done. The crew was on time and began work immediately. They did all the work we requested; took very few breaks.They are very professional, they work quickly and they were very respectful of our property. I willo have them return next year.

We were very pleased with the work of the Hayden's Ridge people. They were professional and respectful from the very first call thru project end. Tony gave us a estimate on the spot, explained how the work would be done, and answered questions thoroughly. He and their crew arrived on time. Their attention to safety for their crew and our property was outstanding. We heard several crew discussions about how to proceed and were impressed with their respect and courtesy with each other. We were a bit nervous when the large crane began lifting large trees trunk sections over our house, but soon gave our nerves a rest when we saw the teamwork and expertise of the workers. They completed the work exactly as discussed and left our property clean. Awesome job, Hayden's Ridge!

The individual I met was professional and considerate. However, on a project where I've been given numerous estimates ranging from $1600 to 2400.00, Hayden's estimate was $4000.00, less a Angie's List 10 % discount. That's TWICE what other Angie's List tree specialists estimate!!! Obviously, the individual was using a polite tactic to indicate that he didn't want the job.

Great communication. Great price for the work. These guys are fabulous! We needed some trees trimmed for an upcoming fence installation and because the yard was looking generally shaggy. RIght when we decided we would call them, there was a huge storm, so when we called, they were already very busy. They STILL returned all of our phone calls. They said they would get to it as soon as they could, as they already had many jobs from the storm. We were fine with waiting, and all things considered, they got to us quickly. They did a very pleasing job with the trimming, and it was perfect when the fence was later installed. We are extremely happy with their work and the way they run the company, and will definitely continue to use them in the future.

I contacted this company by email explaining what I wanted done. I had a response by email the next day. The quote for the work was in my mailbox by the end of that week. I contacted the company again by email requesting the work be done. Tony let me know that it would take a few weeks to get me on the schedule, which was fine with me. After a few weeks I contacted the company again to see where I was on the schedule. I was told the work would be done that week. The workers were there at the time I was told they would be. A few days later the 4 stumps were removed and I was left an invoice to pay for the service.

Very well. They completed the work while I was at work, did a great job, & we handled payment by phone. It was all very convenient & the work was high quality.

Our experience with Hayden's Ridge Tree Service was excellent and second to none. Hayden's has all the equipment necessary to be competitively efficient. The four man crew were professional, courteous and pleasant to communicate with. The owner, Tony Hayden, follows through, is business like, and keeps to his word. The estimates we obtained from the competitors were not only higher, but some wanted to drive a large truck with a hydraulic bucket onto our large yard to access the tree. Hayden's had the flexibility of leaving all the large vehicles on the street while using a skilled tree climber and ground crew do the cutting. They used a balloon tired, grass saving, all terrain vehicle to carry the cut branches and trunk sections to the street. Removing this tree required a full days work with additional time for disposal of the largest trunk sections. There was also follow up visit to grind and remove the stump. Cleanup was excellent. It has taken me a while to make time for this review but everyday we can see the good results of their work as the tree was close to the entrance of our home. Thank you!

Called for estimate to remove tree tagged by the city. Received a callback today. The young woman told me they couldn't provide an estimate for at least 2 weeks due to it being their busy season. She did say if the city deadline got close, then call back and she'd see what they could do. That earned them a C instead of an F.
