Expert Tree Service and Science

In a nutshell, working with Tony and his team was great. His estimate was fast and by far the most affordable for the scale of work being done. On the day of the work, we were delayed from morning to afternoon by mechanical issues on the crane but he communicated the delay well. As for the work itself, they worked efficiently, safely and well. The tree was lifted out from the backyard by huge sections via crane - no small task. After the work was done, they cleaned up the area impeccably. They did a phenomenal job. We'd hire and recommend them again in a heartbeat.

We initially contacted Hayden's Ridge in early June and received an estimate within 24 hours. We elected to use their service and were put on a wait list. It took about a month before they were able to make it out, and we weren't given much advanced warning that they'd be showing up, but every time we contacted them with a question it was answered promptly and professionally. The tree was taken down with minimal lawn damage, and they returned to grind the stump approximately 10 days later. They did a great job with that as well- taking care to grind it well below the level of the surrounding dirt and to grind all large surrounding roots as we had specified.

Of the three bids I got, they were the least expenses of the ones that didn't require the use of neighbor's driveway. The tree slightly straddles the property line and was in a fenced in backyard, which made the removal challenging. I also had a very short deadline because the tree was tagged by the city for elm disease. Hayden responded quickly with an estimate and was able to complete the work by the deadline. I wasn't home when they removed the tree, but my neighbors told me they set a large crane on my front lawn to remove it. ( Hayden had advised me in advance that this would be happening,) There was no damage or marks to my front lawn and there were no debris or telltale signs of the tree removal. I would never have known they were there except for the fact that the tree was gone. The stump grinding was done a week later. They had called me in advance to warn me in case I wanted to move some plants around the stump. Again, there was no debris and very little damage to the vegetation surrounding the stump.

The ash tree in my backyard had a growth spurt and some ot the branches were touching the roof of my house. I was concerned about damage so I called Hayden's Ridge tree service. They had someone come out and take a look and give me an estimate. Since it was a smaller job they were able to get out to my house in a little over a week. They got the tree trimmed up and cleaned up. I really appreciated thay were able to get to my tree so soon. They did a good job.

Same day I called to ask for an estimate, they gave me one that was $300 less than another Angie's List business. They were able to trim and remove the tree earlier than expected. I wasn't here, but it looked great. They did trim the branch a bit over the neighbor's yard, but I truly believe that it left the tree looking prettier. They never set foot in the neighbor's yard, simply made the most attractive cut. Stump ground out a couple days later, and totally cleaned up. Recommended.

I called on the phone to set up the service and several weeks later they treated the tree without requiring my presence and left a bill in the mailbox. Hopefully our tree will be EAB free until the next treatment in two years!

ihaving Hayden's Ridge tree service do work for us went very well. I was amazed at how friendly they were and how they were very prompt to get everything done. They cleaned up everything and made the yard look as nice as they could after they had removed the trees, shrubs and bushes. I was very impressed. We were in the middle of putting in a new driveway and fire pit. They were able to remove a maple tree for us at the last minute that we were originally planning to keep so that we could make our new driveway bigger. They are very reasonably priced and Everyone on their crew including their receptionist is very friendly. I will definitely be using this company for future services and would recommend them to everyone.

They had two employees come out; it was roughly three hours to complete. They did the job at a fair price. They didn't try sell me services I didn't need. You will get a good price and they are good to work with.

PRE-WORK: Tony came by personally to take a look at the work that needed to be done within several days of my initial call. He provided a written estimate of the work and provided additional comments and suggestions. We agreed on "July timing" and that they would call the Sunday before the week the work would be done. I received a call as promised and had time to go out and pick out the shrubs I needed installed. DAY OF: Tony and his crew (3 in total) arrived punctually at 8am with all the right tools to do whatever was needed! They reviewed the work to be done and got started immediately. They were an incredibly focused team - Tony assigned out the tasks and they got right to work. A project I thought would take a good part of a day was completed in 3 hours. They had to remove 3 arborvitaes that were deeply planted and still in their wire cages. They expertly pruned, trimmed and shaped all the requested shrubs and trees and left the garden and yard immaculate! Everything was raked up cleanly and swept up. I was more than impressed with these contractors and would highly recommend them.

I was grateful for this company. I am very picky about (love) my trees, and although they did damage some of the nearby trees a bit, overall I was happy with their work. They were willing to leave as much of the stump as I liked, they neatly piled some branches for me, and left a big chunk (although not as much as I wanted) of the wood for me, cut into easy to chop bits. I wish I had thought about asking to keep the wood chips, but that was an after thought. The biggest thing for me was respect, and as they got an A+ for that, I gave them an A overall. Would definitely recommend and have them come again.

The Guys arrived as planned and got to work and got everything done quickly. They had to come out on a second trip to ground up the stumps . Could be they do that separately from Tree removal , even so they managed to come back and get it done . Very happy with the prompt responses to emails and for sticking with the dates they provided . I will use Hayden's Tree Service again when we need to have work done . Recommended .

They were wonderful. They were prompt, they were clean, they were fast and they were the lowest bid of tree that we received.

Haydens did a wonderful job. Travis and crew were quick, efficient, tidy and Monica was able to fit us into the schedule sooner than anticipated given the recent storm damage that was filling up their schedule. I would definitely use Haydens again for any of their services.

Hayden's Ridge was by far the cheapest quote ($400 lower than the closest). They were incredibly quick to do the work, easy to communicate with, and very professional. They left our yard even cleaner than it was before they were there.

Chris contacted me immediately when I emailed him. He scheduled the work in less than 2 weeks and did an excellent job! The job took longer than expected so he had to make two trips. His staff was so friendly and helpful. Great service!

Responsive, communicative, professional and worth every penny. We had a branch from a very large Basswood tree that was on its way to breaking over a powerline and Tony gave us a very reasonable estimate out of the several arborists we called to prune the tree and clear it from our roof (as well as the powerlines!). They came when they said they would and did a quick and effective job. Will definitely call again for future work.

Tony contacted me promptly after I contacted the company for a quote. He came out and gave me an estimate for the willow tree and a couple others I was considering having trimmed. The quotes were reasonable, but I decided to start with the willow tree. Tony said they were about 4 weeks out for scheduling, but were able to get me in early because they had another job nearby. The crew came out and trimmed the tree. They did a great job and there was no debris left when they were finished. I would certainly recommend Hayden's Ridge Tree Service to friends and family and will use them again when I am ready to have the other trees trimmed.

The experience was great from beginning to end. We got four bids for the project and Hayden's Ridge gave us the best price. Tony was very professional when providing us the estimate, clearly stated what the work involved, and indicated that they would be able to meet our deadline. This was not an easy job. I have cut down my share of trees over the years, and it was obvious to me that they knew what they were doing. The crew of four guys really worked hard all day long. They came in the morning exactly when they said they would be here, and they left everything neat and tidy when they left at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this company because they offer a competitive price and can be trusted to perform the work according to the agreement.

In just a couple hours they removed branches and cleaned up afterward. One branch bounced into our mini split air unit and they pointed it out and arranged to pay for the damaged part to be replaced. Just great!

The crew made a quick job of it and did an excellent job of cleanup. Raked the yard and even swept the street. Very nice guys. Thankful for a job well done!

I had purchased the "Last Chance $99 for $200 Worth of Tree Service" from Hayden Ridge Tree Service last winter. They promptly responded and sent a person out to estimate the work. They quickly responded with an estimate. After that I promptly forgot all about the pruning. In spring I remembered and called them. They were able to find the estimate and schedule the service. They told me it would take 4-5 weeks before the work could be done. When the guys showed up I asked that they remove one additional weed tree and prune of a larger ash tree. I was told it would be about $300 extra for both. I agreed and they did the work. We also encountered and issue with my neighbor (my fault) and they promptly notified me and were very accommodating when I asked them to not prune the lilacs because of the neighbor issue. The trees they pruned look very nice I can see no damage to my lawn, driveway or anything else from the tree removals. My only complaint is they parked the truck and wood chipper so it blocked my neighbors driveway (not the ones that stopped the lilac pruning but the other side). They also dragged all the branches etc across the neighbors driveway. I would have preferred they use only my yard/driveway for the job site. But they did a nice job cleaning up and the after talking to the neighbors they seemed fine, although slightly annoyed that they couldn't pull into their garage during the day.

The guys did a great job, were on time, and made quick work of it. They were willing to negotiate on terms, so I got a price reduction for cleaning up the chips myself.

Excellent. Tony stopped by before we even closed on the house to get us an estimate. Good clean up -- it's like the tree was never there.

It was a fabulous experience - from communicating with Tony and his office staff to the workers who removed a tree and severely cut back a huge shrub. They actually came a couple weeks before we were told they could do the work. The tree was removed in the afternoon and the stump was removed the next morning. The work was done very quickly and neatly. They did an amazing job cleaning up both days. I was very impressed with the work.
