Very well. Most contractors wouldn't even return my call for what would be considered a small repair. I spoke with Stan on Friday and he was here on Sunday. That is first class customer service!

Stan was responsive, flexible and his prices were reasonable. I found his name on Angie's list. He's located in Greenfield, WI. I'm sorry I don't remember the full name of his business.

I found this contractor on Angie's List so I assumed they would be a good contractor. I called them and speaking to the representative, I was told to send the marked up Inspection Report to their email address so they could respond. The report was sent out the same afternoon. The very next day Stanley responded and said they would not be able to fit it into their schedule. While this was disappointing, I really appreciate his professionalism in getting back to me in a timely manner.

Had lost shingles on the ridge of roof from wind damage. Found Stans Home Repair on Angieslist and contacted him about my problem. He stopped to evaluate and decided to repair it right away, even though it was raining lightly. Very pleased.

After the recent ice storm a massive limb from my neighbor's dead tree ended up landing on my roof putting a good sized hole all the way through the shingles and 3/4 inch plywood. After the tree was removed (see my review for Eduardos" tree service) I started calling roofing companies on the list. Without coming out I got quotes from companies ranging from 500$ to up to 1500$. I decided to try and call a few companies under the handyman catagory and found Stan's Home Repair and gave him a call. After describing the situation Stan said he could fix my roof for only $200 and even came out to do so on NYE! I wondered why there were not more reviews on Angie's List and when he asked who referred him to me I found out why. Most of his business is word of mouth. The damage to my roof was a lot more extensive than what it looked like from the ground but Stan stayed with his quote even though he was here a lot longer and had to repair a much larger area. I am having him back to replace 2 doors and replace my interior woodwork. I probably will have to wait a bit after posting this review but it is so rare to find such great customer service combined with superior workmanship that its only right to let everyone on Angie's List know they need to check Stan's home Repair first for really any type of home improvement. It pays to check around and find the right provider, that's for sure!

We got estimates from 3 different places to replace the roof on our garage. We chose Stan's because they were the least expensive but also seemed interested in the work. (The roofing companies were polite, but I think doing just the detached garage was a pretty small job for them.) They helped pick out shingles that matched the ones on the house very well. Showed up on time, did what they said when they said they would. Cleaned up after themselves. When they were done, I talked with them about some other work we were considering. They gave me good information, including which pieces weren't really their kind of work. I haven't had the additional work done yet, but you can be sure I'll be calling Stan's when I do.

Spring was wet and rainy however, anytime there was a lull Stan was out there working on the roof, taking down the chimney's and doing an awesome job. Nice guy, reasonable pricing and super clean!

Stan was very responsive. We needed a minor siding repair performed in a short time frame. He came to the house and performed the repair on the same day that we contacted him. Additionally, he examined the rest of the siding and identified and corrected other minor issues of which we were not aware. Very professional and truly a siding expert.

He is a perfectionist and we were very happy. I would recommend him to everyone. They take a lot of pride in their work. He is very nice to work with. He is professional and friendly. He is very honest and good value for the dollar spent. A lot of people in our neighborhood have used him. He is busy.

Despite several glitches caused by the age of the house and the delay in delivery of the cabinets, Stan was truly understanding and professional. I would have to write a book to tell you all the details of these projects. Suffice it to say, that Stan handled it all in an extremely professional manner.

Stan and his crew showed up every morning and worked until dark and they always cleaned up the yard as best they could before leaving.This routine continued very smoothly until the job was completely done. I am very satisfied with the workmanship, the quality of materials and I believe that I got a very good price.
