Ken from Bluemels came on 6/20/2011 to give me an estimate for some landscaping I wanted done. He seemed to be in a hurry through most of our discussion and towards the end, even though I had more questions, he kept making his way towards his truck. He said he could probably do what I wanted done for about $2300, but he also wanted to give me an estimate on a fence (I told him I was getting estimates for a fence) but he didn't have the measuring tools with him. He said he could probably do everything, including the fence for $10,000 and would come back and measure and leave an estimate then. I have not heard back from him since then. I never recieved a written estimate for the landscaping. I never received an estimate for the fence, or both jobs together.

I love, LOVE Bluemel's! Every spring I go there to buy all my annuals and perennials for planting. Their flowers and plants are so beautiful, I can hardly stand it. The staff and very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I love the play area so my son can play while I shop. Great place!

The work was never done because no one ever called me back or gave me an estimate.

The insecticide application was fine, but the customer service was not. The least you can do is call if you are not going to show up! On two occasions, appointments were made and no one came and they did not call to say they were not coming. A promised estimate never came. It took a trip to the store to get the estimate and schedule the treatment. On the day for the treatment, we stayed home waiting - no one came, no one called to explain or reschedule - finally we called at the end of the day. Yes this was a small job, but small jobs can lead to bigger ones or recommendations. Our neighbor already asked us who we were using for this problem - guess who we did NOT recommend.

We are very pleased with their service. The gentleman who supervises the job here is very professional.

They did a really good job. They were professional. They were reasonably price and prompt. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves. They put a new patio in our back yard. They knew what they were doing.

They first came out to give me an estimate and to find out what I wanted. They did not treat me poorly because my project was of a smaller scale. When the workers arrived, they were very friendly and finished the job within days. It was so pleased with the results. I would recommend them to anyone! They were reasonably priced and completely top notch!

We had the first guy come over to give us a quote. He was only mediocre in his description and ideas. I wasn't too impressed with him, so I asked to speak with the other project manager. He was much better, helped me figure out a design and what type of pavers to use. The installation staff was wonderful, quick and neat. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase. We upgraded as the work was going on, and they were very accommodating.

On occasion I need stones or dirt for my landscaping. So I call them and they bring it out the next day. I am very happy with that. They are punctual on bringing your items and it's affordable.

They had a better price than previous company that we used. They also have more services. The trimming is excellent. They did a great job in spring and fall cleanup. Our grass is 100% better. They got rid of the weeds. The crews are very nice to work with. I am the president of the condo association and I did not have one complaint.

Scott is somewhat of a hard person to reach, in that he does not return phone calls in a timely manner, but once you do an you get your quote set time an date, the crew will show up to complete the job in a timely. Now for the bad news, I have tried repeatatly to get Scott out here to fix some problems, with the brick gaps getting bigger, and the bricks a settling, plus he made special brackets to hold down my gazebo, which he had to make special cuts in four of the bricks, a couple of them have cracked their corner off (installed that way). When he did return my call he said he would stop by, he has yet to stop by. I will call again after I close this out.

THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THE WORK AND NOT DO ANY HARM WHAT SO EVER TO MY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY, THIS IS STATED IN THE CONTRACT. HE SAID THEY WOULD STAY OFF OF THE DRIVEWAY COMPLETELY. THEY PUT THE CAT IN THE DRIVEWAY, IT LEFT TREAD MARKS AND DID DAMAGE. THEY ALSO WERE CUTTING THE STONE ON MY DRIVEWAY WHICH WENT THROUGH THE STONE IN SOME PLACES AND ACTUALLY GOUGED THE CONCRETE IN MY DRIVEWAY. THE CONTRACT ALSO SAYS THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FOLLOW THE SAME LANDSCAPING PATTERN AS THE TIMBERS WITH THE STONE, BUT THEY ENDED UP GOING A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT PATH AND PULLING UP A BUSH AND IT DIED. THEY TRIED TO HIDE IT WITH LANDSCAPING MULCH. THEY LEFT DRY CONCRETE DUST OVER ALL OF MY LANDSCAPING WHICH COULD OF KILLED MY PLANTS. I HAD TO HOSE OFF ALL OF THE LANDSCAPING MYSELF FOR SEVERAL DAYS TO REMOVE ALL OF THE DUST AND RESIDUE. I'VE CONTACTED THE OWNER ABOUT THE PROBLEM AFTER GOING THROUGH THE ACTUAL MEN I DEALT WITH, AND HE HAS NOT BEEN RESPONSIVE. I JUST WANT MY DRIVEWAY REPAIRED.

GREAT COMPANY. SLIGHTLY HIGHER PRICE THAN SOME SMALLER COMPETITORS, BUT CONSIDERING THE LEVEL OF SERVICE & AVAILABILITY OF EQUIPMENT, IT WAS WORTH IT.

EXCELLENT WORK BUT FAILED TO SHOW UP WHEN SCHEDULED, DID NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS, SUBSTITUTED PLANTS WITHOUT PERMISSION AND FAILED TO PROVIDE ANNUAL PLANTS THAT WERE ORDERED. NOTE: THEY DID NOT CHARGE FOR PLANTS NOT PROVIDED.
