+ -1 moreThe estimate was set-up promptly and everything seemed fine, but then I got a call 2 hours before the estimate saying they can't make it. I wasn't able to answer the call, but I called back right away and got no answer. Then I listened to the voicemail stating they would have to reschedule the estimate; no reason and 2 hours advance notice! I called back again to reschedule, but again couldn't get ahold of anyone; left a message to call me back and haven't hear back from them. I guess they won't be getting my business. If that's how they treat a customer before being hired, I would have my doubts on their professionalism after being hired.
Description of Work: We met the provider at a home show and gave our information to follow-up with an estimate on a backyard deck and patio.

Description of Work: They prepared a landscape plan for our new home which is less than one year old. They listened carefully to our wants, needs and preferences using an interactive process. They provided several catalogs from which to choose trees. bushes and plants, as well as landscape materials. Once we agreed a plan, they provided bids for the various phases of the project. We began with grading and burying one of the gutter downspouts in the backyard. Next they terraced the hill behind the patio, and installed two beautiful walls made with Unilock landscape block on two levels totalling about 4' high by 50' wide, and a curved stairway leading to the woods in the backyard. The terraced wall will provide a great location for planting bushes and perenial flowers. They also cleared out the low lying brush and weeds in some of the wooded portion of the yard, and graded and seeded that area. Our next step will be to finish seeding the lawn and plant a few trees and bushes before the snow falls. We have been very pleased with the the results so far and plan to continue using their services to complete the planting. They are very easy to work with, clearly have a lot of experience in working with the Unilock products, and are reasonably priced. The quality of their work is unquestionable.

+ -1 moreWorkers were prompt for estimate and job. Did a good job building the wall, however the devil was in the details. The pavers were placed around the wall, but the gaps were not properly filled in with aggregate. In the process of digging out the dirt for the walls, they proceeded to "help" us by moving the sod and mostly clay fill into a nearby flower bed. When dumping the dirt with a wheelbarrow, they put scratches in our newly poured & stamped concrete patio. The mess they left took us the better part of a week to clean up, removing the layers of sod and clay from the flower bed & surrounding lawn. When we complained about the mess, they offered to clean it up for us for an additional $250.
Description of Work: Had two small stone sitting walls (with pavers at the base) built at the edge of our patio.
