Description of Work: Van Shyndle Plumbing came over to work on a basement remodel for me. He preformed multiple services including: Installed a backwater valve in the floor ( I already had the concrete cut out and ready to go). Re-worked some plumbing to meet code. Run vents as well as plumb in a washing machine Plumb in a dishwasher with shut-off valve Install Water hammer arrestors on washer Replace some 1/2" copper with 3/4" to meet demands of new fixtures. Replaced the old 1 1/2" kitchen sink drain with new 2" Installed a back flow floor drain valve

Description of Work: Kevin Van Schyndle, the owner, had previously done work for me, on which I favorably reported. So I called him again when my washer stopped working and caused flooding in my bathroom; and, at about the same time, I observed wetting of the carpeting in the hallway outside the bathroom.. He replaced the water shutoff valve for the washer, which was leaking, and diligently searched for the cause of the carpet wetting, which he discovered to be from a burst water pipe elbow behind the shower module supplying the bath valve. He not only found the problem, but -- miraculously working through the valve opening in the shower module -- cut and removed the burst elbow, but installed and soldered a replacement pipe, without removing the cabinet immediately behind the shower module. He inspected the burst pipe elbow he removed and showed me evidence that the pipe elbow had been crimped and weakened by the installing plumber, finally fatiguing and bursting 25 years later. He further urged me to submit an insurance claim for the restoration of water damage that had spread to a bathroom and cabinet on a lower floor, and offered to talk to the insurance adjuster to confirm the cause of the damage. OUTSTANDING JOB, and great perserverance and dedication !!!

Description of Work: A leak developed in a corroded poorly soldered elbow in my hot water discharge line. Van Shyndle Plumbing responded within 1-1/2 hour, and replaced and expertly soldered the section containing the elbow within 45 minuites. .

Description of Work: Mark was hired to move the rough in in our basement to accomodate where we needed a vanity and toilet and run all the plumbing needed. He was able to find a contractor to complete the concrete work very quickly.

Description of Work: Replaced two outdoor faucets that were leaking, and replaced the cartridge of the indoor Kohler faucet, which was also leaking.

Description of Work: Our tenants called and said that the toilet was leaking in the basement everytime that it was flushed. I also noticed that the kitchen faucet was leaking the last time I was there so I told the tenant I would have a plumber come out and fix the toilet and the faucet..

Description of Work: On two different occasions I had this plumber do work for me in the evenings. In the first case, I had a broken water pipe and he came immediately to fix it. On the second occasion, my sump pump died and he replaced it and the piping within the day. He was very willing to accommodate my schedule and there were no additional charges for working outside normal business hours. As a master plumber for over 25 years, he is able to resolve any type of issue. In addition, he is clearly a person you can trust to do a great job at a good price.
