+ -1 moreThe actual installation of the water heater went very well. Lee and his brother showed up and installed an Eternal water heater in just a few hours. The trouble came months later when I got a recall notice from the Eternal company stating that my contractor should be contacting me to replace a faulty part. When I did not hear from Vanrite for several weeks, I emailed them twice and called the office once to try to request an appointment. They never contacted me back to schedule an appointment. I finally had to threaten to write Grand Hall Inc (the makers of the Eternal water heater) before Lee sent out a technician to fix the affected part. The kicker was that the warranty work took only 15 minutes! All the headaches over 15 minutes of labor!

+ 0 moreI was happy on the whole and charged me about $80 to install it. He also looked into the bathroom vanity sink for the slow disposal, which he mentioned was due to the way it was built. They charge by an hour and he likes to talk. I then realized I was charged when he was talking. The other thing was that when he was talking he stopped working, so if I call him again in the future, I will ensure not to talk until he finishes his work. I called him once and talked to his wife, but he didn’t return my call and when I called him the next day, he said he would be here by noon and when I called him at 1 pm, he said he was on his way. I felt I didn’t have to call him 3 times in a day for a job. He was neat, polite and knowledgeable. He did a good job and cleaned up after himself. I will use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used the services of VanRite Plumbing Inc. to put in a garbage disposer last week.

+ -1 moreThe water heater was a 40 Gallon that was side venting and the motor on top, which made this item a specialty water heater. He installed it and hauled the old one away. Lee has a very quick response time to your inquiries. I have always been called back within 24 hours. Lee is polite and does good work.
Description of Work: Van Rite plumbing came out to replace a water heater.

Description of Work: I called on 07-03-09 at arund 1000am and spoke with Lee. I told Lee of the problems I was having with a rental unit. Lee explanied to me that he was really busy today. Lee went on to say that if he was not able to do the work he would give the job to another plumber. I told Lee that was fine just as long as the work was completed on 07-03-09. Lee said not a probem. Lee said he would call me back with in an hour. Lee never called me back. I did attempt to call Lee twice during the day for an update. Lee never answered his phone, he must have recognized my phone number. I would have understood if he was too busy and overbooked himself but for him to just ignore me and then never call back even on Monday 07-06-09 is truly unprofessional and a total disregard for customer service. If you need a plumber look elsewhere.
