I called to repair. The quote was $145. The worker was friendly and offered to do clean drain to solve the problem of flood as well. I agreed. After he worked for a hour and half, he told me the drain is still not working and I need to call a plumber to fix it. Then I got a bill of $ 272. 50 for two jobs-- the sewer line and the drain. I feel I shouldn't be charged for full of second job (the drain), since it is till not working, the basement is still flooded. Because he did spend time on it, I am willing to pay half of second work. I called to the office to discuss, a woman working in the office is very rude, does not want to listen to what I have to say, repeatedly hang up the phone. I had worked with this sewer service before, I hate to have to quit using them in the future. I did pay the amount they asked, but I will for sure not using them anymore and I will tell my friends not using them either. If the woman is not the owner, I hope the owner step up and talk with your customers and don't let the rude employee ruin your business.

The drains had been blocked and slow for weeks but I dreaded calling the company I have used in the past because the last experience was not great (the scheduling was a headache, the technician wasn't pleasant, and I felt I overpaid). I finally had to do call someone and actually tried another company who was rated highly on Angie's List, but they were booked into next week so the scheduler recommended Twirl Sewer Service. The scheduler at Twirl was pleasant and we got a date and time scheduled. Shortly after scheduling, she called back and had someone available, so a few hours after I called I had someone on the job. The technician (Bob) was polite, neat, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I felt comfortable with him and he got the jobs done right, even checking the basement pipes to make sure the drain was completely clean. No mess and a very pleasant experience! Because I had two drains cleaned, the second was half price. I feel the price was fair because I know the job was done right. Since he was so knowledgeable, I asked him to look at another project that needs to be done with the sump pump and he was able to advise how to go about that project. Sounds like we'll be able to have him back to work on that one, too, when the time comes!
