Description of Work: We asked them to give us an estimate on replacing our fireplace. They came out at agreed upon time and took measurements. They seemed to quickly lose interest when we didn't want an expensive, fancy solution. They never contacted us to actually provide an estimate or help with our problem. Will never use again and I do not recommend.

Description of Work: I had not used my gas log fireplace in at least 8 years. They were here less than one hour, on time and did a complete examination of the unit, cleaned it and certified it operational and safe for a very reasonable price. Thank you guys.

Description of Work: Service technician arrived as on time and completed the work requested. He repainted the back shroud of the gas fireplace, replaced the spark igniter and installed a new blower in the fireplace. He cleaned glass pane covering the front of the fireplace. Prior to beginning the work he placed a large cloth across the floor to protect the carpeting. Excellent job with the fireplace repair!

Description of Work: Visited the Energy Shop on Tuesday to view gas fireplace inserts to convert our wood burning fireplace. The next day, an employee came to our home and gave us an estimate. Decided to have them install the insert. Made an appointment for 8 am the following Monday. Installers were on time, polite, efficient and very knowledgeable. Two hours late our insert was installed. Installers were extremely neat. Vacuumed up any "mess" that was made. Would definitely recommend the Energy Shop.

Description of Work: I bought a gas space heater and had to have it installed to code. They put a new chimney liner in and connected it to the chimney.

Description of Work: Select and purchase a fireplace insert. Install the fireplace insert into an existing standard fireplace.

Description of Work: Visited three stores in regard to gas log fireplace. The Energy Shop was the only one to show me the part I needed; the other two places wanted to sell me an entire new gas log unit. (The Public Service had told me when they shut off the gas that I had a leak and needed a new on/off switch or valve.) The Energy Shop arrived promptly, installed the new valve or on/off switch, cleaned and stacked the logs and lit the pilot light both in that fireplace and the one in the living room which had been turned off as well. Great service. We are pleased and would use The Energy Shop again. They also have a large display of fireplaces; this is all they sell...not stones or bricks or lumber. They specialize in fireplaces.
