Stanley Steemer

We have used the steemer for years. Never again. The tech was in a hurry. The carpets were left less than quality clean and very wet. The tech also damaged our front stoop and offered to take off $25 which is the discount they give anyone online. They will not make good on the repair of the stoop. Mgmt said our home was old and not well maintained. Our 80 year old house is immaculate so this is simply false. The man making the comment had not even been here. He also discussed our account with a friend so privacy isn’t a priority either. Corporate was written to and did not reply. Apparently they’re interested in sales, not maintaining customer relationships.

We had recently purchased a new home in the area. The previous owners had a cat. We decided that it was best if we hired a professional carpet cleaner to remove as much of the cat hair as possible. The workers came in quickly and had cleaned our whole home in less than three hours. The next day we purchased a new vacuum. There was so much cat hair and dirt left over that I had to empty the canister twice per room. We spoke with the survey people and they had the manager sent out to look at our carpets. On their website it says "satisfaction guaranteed". I asked for a refund as we were just going to replace the carpets. The manager, whose name is Adam(?), told me that because they hadn't been paid for the work yet. He could go behind the owners back and just issue us a refund. After having not heard from him for a week I called back and asked what was happening. At which point he informed me that they would not be issuing a refund and they wanted to come out and clean the carpets again. I asked what good is it to have them come out if I already got most of the cat hair. How would I know if they were actually doing a better job? I told him I would speak with my wife and see what she thought. We agreed we just wanted a refund, so I called him back. He has not returned my calls or made any attempt to correct the problem. The other manager that came with him was, Joe.

They did an excellent job in the past and were very professional.

It went beautifully! This is not the first time I have hired Stanley Steamer; they do a fabulous job. After communication to secure what exactly we wanted done (with Jacob being polite and accomodating) the fellows arrived to do the work. They were diligent to remove the wine stain, which could be stated as having been "set". Quite frankly it was HORRIBLE. Not just a small spill, but my husband tripped so it spewed all over. I am happy to say they, for the most part, got it all out. In the right light, if you know where it was, you can see a shadow of pink but considering what it HAD looked like, they did a FABULOUS job. Furniture was cleaned and scotchguarded and we are GREATLY SATISFIED! We have already purchased a yearly plan where they will return 3 times this year, at a date to be determined by us, to clean our carpets. Jacob is great to work with and his team of cleaners are very nice and do a very thorough job.

It went well. The personnel were friendly and helpful. My only issue is that I feel they went to fast. Considering the age and condition of the carpet, I feel they did an adequate job.

They were very fast at setting appointment and getting the job done! The workers were professional and answered any questions I had. Even though they had a different prices then I was quoted when they were finished - they honored the price I was quoted. Everyone, from the first phone call to the end product was great!!

The two gentlemen arrived on time, after calling that am to confirm. They were polite and went to work immediately. They did a wonderful job!!! My carpet is clean---they did a fine job. I would definitely hire them again and have recommended them to my family.

They were knowledgable about stains and managed to get a lot of grease/oils carried in on my machinist husband's shoes out of the carpet. My furniture was well protected and I was very happy they were able to make it on short notice when I had trouble getting another provider to return my call. I am very happy with their service.

It went well. Technicians were on time, courteous, neat. It did cost more than last time owing to different measuring criteria and a newly imposed, but justifiable, fuel surcharge.

The service was really good. They brought a really nasty floor back to life. They're very professional and the price was right.

Jack came on time. Worked hard and performed a miracle. Carpet was very dirty as we have a dog. Carpet looks like new. I love him!!

I had the carpets in my living room, stairs and a landing cleaned. They called when they were on their way and were at my house on time. They were very professional and had to do a few spot treatments. Everything was cleaned, deodorized and stain protected within an hour.

We've used Stanley Steamer to clean the same carpet about twice a year for the past two years. They do an amazing job! Show up on time and are fast to finish work. The carpet looks good as new!

I would classify them as average. The job was so-so, but I don't remember anything unusual about it.

They were very professional. They called two days prior to confirm the appointment, and then called again the morning of the appointment to confirm the time and the names of the people that were coming to my home.

I called Stanley Steamer to clean the heavy traffic areas in my house. I have three kids and two dogs so my carpets take a lot of traffic. I was able to schedule the appointment on Monday and they arrived promptly at when they said they would. They got it and got the job done quickly and professionally and I loved the results.
