The problem surfaced twice in sewer back up in a utility room. A Roto-rooter tech came after the first back up and cleaned out the initial plumbing to the Palmer valve. After the second problem occurred,the roto-rooter technician returned with a camera to view the pipe but was unable to push it through an obstruction. This prompted a call to the builder who then put us in touch with the original plumber on the job, Kuhn Plumbing. Mr. Kuhn assured us that he would help us get to the bottom of the problem. If his crew was at fault any plumbing fix would be free. He stated that we would have to pay for the services of another plumber and any fix up costs to the problem. To his credit, he kept his word and followed thru with another plumber. The problem was a 2" pipe fitting was floating in a 3" pipe. Water could flow through but toilet paper and feces would become dammed up until erupting by plunginng with a plunger. After 2 1/2 hours, the 2 plumbers camera located the fitting and extracted it by pushing the fitting to a stack where it could be retrieved thru a 1' by 1" drywall hole cut in a closet. This will need to be repaired yet. He called back the following week to make sure no further problem was occuring. Since the problem was caused by his crew should we have ANY expense for the repair? My wife said no.

Serviceman arrived on time. Reviewed the piping and valves that were not up to code. I explained what I wanted in addition to the replacement of the faulty plumbing - a new faucet to the outside of the house. The repairman gave me a detailed explanation of what he would do. The work was accomplished in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. One small issue - though I gave the serviceman the correct billing address, the office still called me to get it.

Kuhn Plumbing had several jobs that week but fit me in their schedule. They called me @ work and we arranged a time that they could come over. The plumbers were Ron Kuhnis Son & Nephen and they were polite and got down to work i had to go back to work so they locked up after done my wife and i were pleased with their work.
