Description of Work: The electrical upgrade of an older home was done very poorly. Electrical wiring not properly done in attic flooring; huge damage. Outlets placed on walls were not at the same level. Cable TV cabling did not have the connectors completed in basement. Bathroom sink was damaged. Supervisor did not verify the issues we encountered to ensure it was properly done.

Description of Work: needed new wiring through out the house, new outlets in areas that didn't have them, & whole new up to code electrical boxes put in. Mr. Metzler & his sons were great, did what I wanted & cleaned up afterward. Price was great for all that they did.

Description of Work: Metzler Electric was here immediately to give me a quote on moving and replacing a yard light by our deck. They came the following week to do the work and it was completed in a very short amount of time with excellent results! A new motion detector light was moved to a higher location for less glare while entertaining on our deck but still giving us plenty of light for grilling at night. The wires were run outside with an eye-appealing incasing and everything connects to an inside switch. We had all the children home for Mother's day and the party went late into the evening so we had a chance to experience their work. It was perfect! Plenty of light to cook and not too bright that it bothered anyone's eyes or distrupted our neighbors! We will definitely use Metzler again as we have a lot more projects to be done! The price came in well below the original estimate of $300.

Description of Work: Arrived 15 minutes early. Fixed my wiring in the living room. Replaced my outlets thur out the house as per code. Great professional attitude.

Description of Work: I had two ceiling fans installed. One of the fans was in my living room where there was no electrical box or switch. Also, I had a solar electric eye installed on my outside yard lite.

Description of Work: The ceiling light in the kitchen was not working as well as several outlets in the dining room & living room. The week before we had a different electrician come & tell us we just needed a new light fixture in the kitchen. So he temporarily installed a socket with a single light bulb until we could get a new fixture. He was to return & install the new fixture when we had time to go & buy one. Well within 12 hours the socket he installed didn't work either. After numerous phone calls that he wouldn't answer and messages left on his phone with no reply,we knew we had to call someone else. We had to get a working light in the kitchen so we called Metzler electric. We called on Monday, and Tuesday they came and found a loose/bad wire which they replaced and installed the new light fixture. Everything is working fine. Cost $150, piece of mind priceless.

Description of Work: We updated our electrical box from 100 amps. to 200 amps. fix any code violations and had 2 extra lines run to the bath room.
