Honestly...I know this happened 2013 but it still has me mad. I am a person that tries to give the benefit. The install person decided to go the bathroom at my house and not just too relieve....but hung around for awhile. Needless to say I did not need the oder that was affecting my office work. The contract has been pointed out to me NOW that its a AUTO renew for 36 months. I did not hear that from the original sales person. And I understand that I should have read the fine print....but no follow up call on service. The system has a auto check every week and they will call you if its off line but if you don't answer then its offline till you connect with them. There should be no reason to call me unless there is an emergency. Just makes me mad that companies like this lock you in for the long hall and you can't get out. So not I am paying for service for 3 years and I do not want to be apart of them. Has nothing to do with not wanting to pay....not happy with the company's customer service. Because it seems you sign, and we can treat you however we want! I will not do business with companies like this. Customers are suppose to be always right.....guess not! All I can say is read ALL the print.....ask how long the service is for and not a year like I was told!!!! Just watch yourself!

I contacted them yesterday and they came out this morning to do the install. The install went great. Not only did they do an install, but they did an actual smoke and fire testing while educating me what was going on with the detectors and my notifications on my phone. I originally contacted NEST, on their website form, where they gave me a list of area installers. Since I had a great experience with Martin Systems the first time around, I selected them to purchase and install my NEST CO and Fire Detectors and NEST Thermometer. Again...I was impressed with their timing and very impressed with the service work, testing and educating me on how to correctly use the NEST product and how to use it with our iPhones remotely.

While the original purchase and install were fine. They are not good people to deal with for the long haul. I would not recommend them to anyone.

It went unbelievably well and my husband and I are very pleased with our system. Everything was installed in a timely fashion and the work looks great and not shoddy like a handyman we hired to work on my husbands man-cave. Martin Security was more money upfront than ADT...but Martin's rates saved us a lot of money in a 3 year period. ADT was running a promotion for free equipment but wanted to charge us 2 1/2 times more per month for the monitoring. With Martin Security we are paying an affordable amount for monitoring. Martin Security is also a local company with a great reputation compared to national companies. I felt uneasy when I spoke to the ADT guy.
