It has been over a year and he has still not come back to finish the caulking or the exterior flashing. He assured us that and quot;When the weather warmed upand quot; he would be back, but several calls to him have gotten no reply. One of the headers he built was improperly assembled and was not even the right size (although the proper materials for making it correctly had been purchased and were readily available.) He said that he was tired of getting referrals from Angie's List, as he is trying to retire, but to leave me unhappy seems like bad business practice and I'm really tired of trying to get him to come back for what would amount to less than three hours of work.

It has been over a year and we have not been able to get Jim to come back to finish the exterior flashing or caulking the gaps in the metal cladding that wrapped the exterior trim on the doors. There are still half of the materials from the roof flashing project cluttering up the inside of the home. In addition, one of the headers he built was not done properly even though the materials were on hand and pointed out to him before he built it.

This was 16 year ago so my memory is not the best. Overall the remodeling went well. the quality of the work was fine and they were on schedule; friendly and comfortable to work with. I didn't quite understand though, why a contractor gets a financial benefit from the price of the cabinets that I had already worked on and ordered from the cabinet company; nor the carpet work done in the living room that I had previousely picked out and had set up for an installer friend to complete. I would have liked to see a little more creativity and design ideas.

We were very pleased with the work done. The workers were there every day to complete the project and did so in a timely manner.

Jim does high quality work, and most importantly, is a contractor you can TRUST. I cannot stress this enough. If you are looking for an experienced remodeler/contractor, you will not be disappointed.

Everything was fantastic. Cannot come up with any don'ts.

Everything about our experience was fabulous. Jim is so honest, he even took money off when things he purchases for us ended up being cheaper. Some of the things he took money off for, we would never have known. All the work was done with perfection. Jim and his 2 crew members would be welcome to do work for us in the future.
