+ -1 moreGave the owner a deposit of 600 dollars on a 1300 dollar Job. painting the trim of my house. This was to do the 4th week of June it is now the 4 week of August and my house is still not painted. The first time he wanted to come 3 weeks early my scheduel would not alow me to work with that time frame. The second time was the week the roofer was doing the roof, I was told at that time the 1st week of August that he would be there either Thrusday or Friday of the that 1st week of August after the roofer was finished on Tuesday the 4th as of today the 25th of August he still has not painted my trim. I did explain to him I needed this done by the 21st of August at the latest that date came and went now I am still waiting. I am told he will show up on Monday the 31st of August after I called him to see what the problem is.
Description of Work: Paint the trim of a 1920 home including the outside of the screened in poarch.

+ -1 moreI do not recommend Dennis Jeffrey, If you see him, please ask for my $1180. This is all in the public record, you can look it up. If you want I can fax you a copy of the polce report.
Description of Work: Jeffrey gave us a $2622 estimate for the exterior staining of our log home, He asked for 45% down payment. He left some ladders on our property and said he would paint the following week after he finished another job. He returned only to get his ladders. He never did the job. I called the next spring and he said he would come out to paint, but he never did. I filed suit and hired a process server, but J effreycould not be located and never showed up in court. The Brown County Circuit Court files have over twenty suits against him, none collected. He called a year later and asked to use me as a reference using his same cell number, I told him to get out here and finish the job, he never showed. I also filed a criminal charge of Theft by Fraud. The Shawano County Prosecutor told me that it is very hard to prove and dropped the case.
