Description of Work: I called just after the big storms in the Fox Cities/GB area and Rick said they were very busy, but would get to us as soon as he could. No identifiable contact from them yet. I turned away a fella with a clip board riding in a Driveway Sealant truck as there had been a ton in the area recently and we were not interested. I called AAW back and left a message telling them if that was them, I was sorry, call me back. I have had no calls from phones with ID of AAW or Rick; several with just a number not in our AC. We are still interested in their estimate. Do not know what to do next. Advice?

Description of Work: Rick and Company took out 2 trees; one a 70 foot Silver Maple. We had the whole neighborhood watching this very major production!

Description of Work: came and trimmed several large branches from a very large tree in backyard that were hanging over house and garage

Description of Work: The AAW Team cut and pruned 5 trees on my property. They used a cherry picker to get the high branches. Where the cherry picker could not maneuver, one guy used ropes to skillfully climb around the tree and prune with a chain saw. They picked up all the limbs and branches, loaded them in their truck and hauled them away using a Bobcat and a truck mounted "clam."

Description of Work: Tree removal ans some bushes. Great job and done quickly. The frist time I used them was an emergency. Wind was caused a big tree to split and was going to fall on my neighbors electric line pulling it out of their house. They were amazing. They coordinated WPS, neighbors (had to get permission to turn their electricity off), and got the job done without harm. I will call nobody else.

Description of Work: I ran into Rick, the owner, at my neighbor's home. He was cutting down a tree for my neighbor. I asked him to give me an estimate on removing 4 large poplars from our property. He promptly gave me an estimate. His price was fair, $250 per tree. This was a middle of the the road price. Within a week he was at my house. He and his crew were very courteous and Rick actually thanked me for the business. This was a first! I have interviewed many tree services and most act like they are a cut above the averge human while looking like grungy mountain men. Most are somewhat lazy and schedule out many months from the date of the estimate. AAW was prompt and the job exceeded my expectations. They not only cut the trees down and removed the wood but also took all of the branches. (Many services like to leave some junk behind as it is less work for them) AAW had no trouble doing the job in about 4 or 5 hours as they have the right equipment and are very capable of doing big jobs. They can even grind stumps which a lot of others cannot do. They are very thorough and actually did a little extra trimming for me. They cared enough about doing a such good job that they even took leftover branches from a previous job without me asking them to do so. I have NEVER had this happen before. Rick gave me good advice when I asked him tree questions. I am pretty knowledgable as I have a degree in biology and ran a business dealing with plant growth. Others in his position often give all kinds of BS advice. I have used 4 different tree trimmers in the past and AAW was really the best. The most outstanding characteristic of AAW was that they actually cared about doing a job that would please me rather than a job that was easiest for them.

Description of Work: AAW Tree Service removed three trees from the yard of which two were big oaks that had grown well over my roof. They did the job from 24th August to 27th August 2012.

Description of Work: Two huge diseased cottonwoods dropped and removed Four small/medium dead elms dropped and removed. Cleanup excellent, half a day to get it all done and gone. No collateral damage within a congested work zone.
