5 Star Hardwood Floors

I contacted 5 star for a quote to sand 495 st ft of hardwood floors in 2 bedrooms and hallway. He told me he would only do the project if he could also apply the oil urethane. He came to my house 2 days later and gave me a quote to sand and refinish my floors. He quoted me at $2/sq ft. I had previously refinished the floors in two rooms in my house (~300sq ft) and it cost me $0.90 sq ft (materials, sanders rentals) and took over 15 hrs to complete. I got a few other quotes from other contractors, but decided to use Mike after calling some of his references and seeing pictures of his previous projects. Mike showed up when he said he would and finished on-time. He went out of his way to purchase and apply the same oil urethane that I used in my other two rooms upstairs to the shine would match between rooms. The only reason I give a B for quality is the oil applicator touched the sheetrock in two places, which I now have to paint. I plan on using 5 star again in the future. The floors look great and am extremely happy with how they turned out.
