Todd was great! The new front door job went perfectly. I wanted a new door more urgently and he was able to come right away and even did the work the next weekend. He was extremely knowledgeable about the ordering process with Menards. He got the more technical materials for me and replaced the rotted wood frame around my door as well...and even helped me work the new lock (which was a keyless entry). Anyway, he was great, and I will recommend him to anyone in the future.

Todd did a great job. The problems were identified and the necessary steps were taken to correct both issues. I have used Todd's Carpentry in the past and will not hesitate to hire again.

It went perfectly. First of all, our doors were custom orders from Menard's, and only one door came in on time. Todd installed the first door on a Sunday to accommodate our schedule, and then came back one week later when the other door arrived. He installed the other door immediately, and he did not charge an additional fee for having to make two trips. Todd is a great example of why we use Angie's list to find our contractors.

Todd did a great job! He was prompt and started right away. It only took him about 2.5 hours to do all the work. The 2nd closet door and the shelf were additional items that were not part of the original estimate. Todd included them at no extra charge. Todd was very professional in his work and communication!

Todd was always punctual and cleaned up. However the actual installation did not turn out well. On the front entry door with sidelights, the old door frame was set down into the concrete. After pulling the frame out, the new door was installed over the holes which were not filled and on top of bits of broken concrete. He recommended us getting liquid concrete to fill the holes after installation, however it was impossible to fully fill with the door already installed. He used caulk to take care of air leaks and drafts, which has already sagged, and we've tried adding additional caulk to fill the gaps. The new door is much draftier than the 50 +yo door it replaced. For the storm doors, furring strips were not used around the trim to fit the storm doors properly, rather 2-4 screws were inserted at an angle to hold the trim in place across the gap. I am in the process of trying someone to reinstall the doors so they are installed properly and not so drafty.

I called Todd after seeing reviews on here on 3/4/18. He called back the very same day and set up an appointment to come out and take a look on 3/6 at 8:15 am. The time worked, he came exactly on time, took a look and made a recommendation which he said he could get done as early as the very next day. Came on time again at 9 am, was brisk and efficient and I'm happy to report that he just finished up, did a great job. I'm really pleased with his courtesy, professionalism and timeliness, highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to hire again. Thanks, Todd.

My experience with Todd was great. I had gone to a big box store for a quote on doors & installation. The numbers they gave floored me. I came here to Angie's List & read real good reviews Todd's work. I contacted him & he was in contact with me the next day. A couple days later he came to the house, measured everything & recommended a different place to get doors. This recommendation was a LOT cheaper than where I had got my quote. He even tracked down one of my cats that ran out the door! After I got the doors we scheduled a day to install. He was on time, installed them in a timely manner (despite a hand injury!) and they look great! Every step of the way I felt comfortable with Todd. He was very helpful, concise & friendly. I would definitely hire him again. Thank you Todd!

Todd's estimate to install exterior doors was 1/2 what another contractor gave me. Todd responded to all my emails, promptly. He was on time and helped me and my husband with needed additional accessories for the job. His estimated time was spot on. Todd is professional and friendly. I would absolutely hire Todd, again!

This could not have been a better experience. The door looks amazing and the process of working with Todd was wonderful. He came to my home for a quote almost immediately after contacting him and helped me decide on the door to order. The order I placed at HD took longer than expected, but Todd picked it up and did the install the day after it was ready, just in time for the holidays! The install was tricky (1940's home), but Todd did it with ease and was meticulous in his work. As a bonus, he's a genuinely nice person who loves what he does...I definitely look forward to working with him again!

I had my front doors replaced with Todd, and had a great experience. He returned all phone calls VERY promptly - was able to provide an estimate quickly - could start really soon, which was very helpful - he gave the option to purchase the doors myself to keep costs down, and gave me all information I needed to do that VERY easily (I walked in, gave them the piece of paper, and they walked me to my options) - he showed up on time, and was done early. Also, he was really polite! There's nothing more that I could have asked for, and would definitely recommend him.

Todd was excellent to work with. Before hiring I had several questions on size of door, what to order and he stepped me through it. When it came time to do the work, he showed up on time, completed the work quickly and professionally. The door looks great and will help keep out the drafts this winter. Todd was cheerful and went right to work. He finished the job within an hour. The door now seals perfectly. I was interested to hear Todd say that he loves what he does and that working seven days a week is fun for him!

I was very impressed. Todd's Carpentry was the only contractor to actually respond back to me. He was also eager to work and was willing to work around my crappy work schedule. Todd had to travel about 30 minutes to my job site. All the work was done fast and in a timely matter. I would hire again as everything met my expectations.

Todd is very personable. He returned my phone call promptly and provided a fair bid. Todd does quality work and I will be hiring him for future projects.
