Mike, Gina and their team did a wonderful job on our basement remodel. They completely gutted the space and added a bathroom and laundry closet. The basement went from a cold and outdated space to our favorite floor in the house. I knew when I left the house in their hands each morning that Mike was treating the space like it was his own. He took the schedule seriously, going so far as to manage the basement waterproofing companies schedule and work even though they were not his contractors. Reality Construction made the process simple, even when the job was not! I have told my friends and family about the great experience and would recommend them to anyone.

We have no regrets in picking Reality Construction. Mike and Gina were great to work with. They are professional and took the time to understand what we were looking to do. They made our remodeling experience enjoyable and completed the project on time - 2 1/2 months. They guided us through design, construction, and final review, simplifying the entire process. If we had any questions, they responded quickly and addressed them promptly even after the project was completed.

We were very pleased with our remodeling project. We expanded our main floor half bath to a full bath with a shower and also expanded our main floor laundry room. We love the new layout, and we were pleased with the design that Gina came up with. The communication with Mike and Gina was great; they kept us informed all along the way and returned calls and emails promptly to answer any questions we had. Ralph does outstanding carpentry and trim work with fine attention to detail. They stuck to their timeline of completion, and the price we were quoted was the price we paid. We would highly recommend Reality Construction.

We contacted Reality Construction to finish our basement in late August, 2019 and they completed the project in 8 weeks, within the quoted time frame. We had a pretty good idea what we wanted to achieve when we started the project, but had no idea how much better it would turn out, due to the efforts of all involved. We were seeking quality workmanship at a reasonable price and that it is what we received. Our basement is now a nice retreat.

We used Reality Construction for a total kitchen remodel and are very pleased with the result. This was our first major remodel and didn't know what to expect - I couldn't have imagined a smoother process. From taking us shopping to pick out the materials to providing a calendar on day one that showed exactly what would happen each day, it took the guesswork out of the process. Even when our 60+ year old house had some "surprises", they were handled and we were kept calm. All of this was done within the time and budget we were quoted. Mike and Gina kept us informed and were great at communicating and returning our calls. They were also very patient with us first-timers! The workers were great and did quality work. We would definitely recommend using them!

We used Reality to finish our basement and the results were even better than we expected. The process from start to finish went exactly like Mike and Gina told us it would. They made sure there were no surprises and we did not pay a penny more than the price they quoted. Would definitely recommend using them!

Everything went well. The demo was done right and the installation was more or less in line with the schedule they put out in the beginning of the process. The vendors they work with are high quality and professional, and we would use them again.

AWESOME - Reality construction did an excellent job with my kitchen remolding project. We determined a budget, and that was it, no worries, no hassle with the price. They stepped me through the entire process and allowed me to pick out every item, Even allowed me to change a few things. They were very accustomed to this kind of project, And the attention to detail was amazing. They thought of things that I would never had. Most of the work was done when no one was at home, and I never felt security was an issue. The communication was great and the kitchen is exactly what I hoped for. Wonderful company and I would highly recommend them for any remolding job.

We had two separate jobs, one in 2010 and another in 2015. Both were major projects, well done, well supervised, and within budget. We are still marveling at the work that was done and so happy we chose Mike and Gina at Reality Construction.

We worked with Reality Contruction this fall. We had decided to remodel our kitchen to update it from the 70s. This included removing walls. Of all the contractors we interviewed, Mike & Gina were the most friendly, professional and personable AND listened to what we wanted to do. Throughout the entire process, we had excellent, professional workers who were helpful, respectful and willing to answer any questions we had. They frequently consulted with us to make sure the project was done to our liking. Mike, Gina and Debbie were always available to us and promptly responded, even on weekends and after hours. The project was completed on time and the cost quoted was the cost we paid. There were no surprises or hidden fees. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect! One of the nicest benefits was that we were taken to all the suppliers to see the products and make our selections with guidance from Gina and Mike. Our kitchen now has a “Wow” feature when guests come into our home. It is beautiful and efficient to work in. It has become the centerpiece of our home and we couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Reality Construction LLC!

We initially contacted Mike and Gina to remodel three bathrooms (master, kids, and powder room). After experiencing their wonderful work, which included constant communication, trusted advice, creative design ideas, and “as promised” finished results, we asked them to also finish our basement, which included adding another bathroom. True to form, Mike and Gina created our vision on time, to standard and at the initially quoted price. While we had not planned on continuing the remodeling adventure so soon, we were so pleased with the bathrooms and the basement that we requested them to also remodel our kitchen. This included removing walls, shifting plumbing, etc. Again, we were thrilled with results. We are only sad there is nothing left for them to work on!!! We recommend Reality Construction highly and will certainly utilize them again for any other remodeling projects that spring up.

The beginning started out good with going around to reputable businesses for cabinets, hardware, flooring etc. Then came the first problem with the doors. The ceiling for a bedroom was lowered due to gas lines. The carpenter cut the door 6” because they were not custom ordered for the height of the cieling. Mike fixed the issue with the door. Then came the stain. They were supposed to be a Kona dark stain. Well, when the first set came the frame was Kona but the doors were a light stain. Reorder #2 started. Then the third set of doors came and it looked like a Tiger stripe patteren because the stain wasn’t dark enough like the samples we were shown. Then order #4 came and most were good but some had to be sent back. So then came the 3D design of the bar and upper cabinet. My wife and I had about 4 different 3D renderings done but we just didn’t like the options. Gina proceeds to leave me a voice mail saying we are being to picky and they have to pay for each 3D drawing and we need to choose. That is not my fault REALTY! Next time tell your customer EXACTLY how many rendering are allowed. Now there was an issue with another contractor not related to Realty with a foundation issue. The drywall was being installed and we had to stop for an inspection from the other contractor. Mike called the project manager and they didn’t get along and told me “It’s not his problem and it’s mine to figure out”. What owner of a company says that to their customer? The shower was installed, but two of the panels were a different color. The cabinets for the bar came, one was the wrong size. No quality control there. Needless to say Mike did get the job done, however he lacks the skill to be able to “talk” to people. We did have a minor water leak from a pipe which was taken care of and hasn’t been a problem since.

Over the summer Reality remodeled our kitchen and adjoining rooms resulting in a remodel of most of our first floor. Our house was built in the 80’s and purchased from the original owners and it really needed an update. Reality was very straight forward during the quote process (we received 4 quotes from 4 different companies). After checking references, we decided to contract with Reality. The first floor was taken to the studs and rebuilt into the beautiful space we have today. Reality was a great company to work with, they provided a schedule that let us know when to expect workers and detailing what would be accomplished. Mike, Deb, and Gina were very responsive to our questions. The project stayed on time and on budget, even when it was discovered that an original beam wasn’t up to code. Reality finished on the scheduled week! We love our first floor remodel with it’s beautiful kitchen. We will definitely contact Reality again when we are ready to tackle another project.

Reality Construction did an outstanding job on our kitchen, bathroom and laundry remodel. Mike and Gina did a great job of designing the layout with multiple options. They managed the process of selecting cabinets, flooring, counter tops, etc... Their vendors and construction team have a "can do attitude" and were always willing to answer any questions that we had. They provided a construction schedule up-front and did a great job of keeping to the schedule. You always knew where we were at during the process. The job finished on-time and within budget. I had an older house with a kitchen that needed to be completely gutted and remodeled. It was an awkward layout and I did not know where to begin. Mike and Gina had wonderful suggestions and were easy to work with. The work was done on time and on budget. 6 months later, and I'm still very extremely pleased with my kitchen. I can't wait to work with them again!

We had a ~1700 sq ft. basement that was partially finished. Mike's team demolished it to the concrete walls/floor, added a full bath, egress window, wet bar w/ island, bedroom w/ walk-in closet, hallway closet, storage room, utility room, natural gas generator, replaced electrical panel, and moved two sewer stacks in to the walls to open the floor plan. We had low ceilings to begin with and Mike took it upon himself to have his team raise our duct work as close as we good to the ceiling to give us a couple more inches. He continually pointed out a lot of things (questions for us to answer - w/ recommendations) as we went through the process. We heard from him or his team very frequently - providing us updates along the way. He wasn't the cheapest bid we got, nor was he the most expensive. We did appreciate that they walked us through the options to choose, and would provide recommendations (cabinets, door/trim type/color, counter-tops, bathroom/kitchen fixtures, etc). That process could have been overwhelming but they made it a breeze. Mike kept the project moving really fast until we asked to pause for a potential water issue. Once we resolved that, Mike's team finished quickly. We were very satisfied and would choose them again.

Mike and his subs were great, excellent communication. He kept us updated on what was scheduled. Our project was done ahead of schedule and as quoted. He was very easy to work with and professional.

Mike was very prompt about getting a quote to us and giving us a real idea of what it would take to finish our basement. After getting quotes from other contractors we decided to use them since they had the guaranteed pricing and were able to fit our project in their time line. One of the nicest aspect of working with Reality Construction was the fact that they gave us a schedule at the onset of the project and stuck to it. In fact they were done a little earlier than promised. The contractors that came to the house were very professional and always punctual. They kept the house as clean as possible through the whole process and changed the runners a couple of times since my son was always crawling around. It was very much appreciated. All the sub contractors that came were professional. Mike was always easy to get a hold of when I had a question about the project and he communicated very well about what was going on and when things would happen. This was a nice departure from previous contractors that were always difficult to get a hold of or would just show up unexpectedly after a period of unexplained absence. This was not the cheapest quote we go but it also was not the most expensive and what I like about it was the fact that they have a contracted price and schedule that they stick to. We have already recommended them to a few friends who are looking to have work done in their house. We would definitely work with them again without hesitation.

This is the second remodeling project we hired Reality Construction to do. They are very easy to work with. They provide a great deign, going beyond the vision we initially had for the project. They are very helpful in picking out the materials. The communication they provide is excellent, keeping us advised of the schedule on a weekly basis. When a minor complication did arise, they found a solution, gave us options and made sure we were happy with the result. Both of the projects we have used them for have turned out great and have really added to aesthetics and functionality of our home.

We hired Reality to do a complete kitchen remodel. Project started out okay and then turned accusatory toward us – “Not everyone is as picky as you”, “you will never be satisfied”. If picky is wanting things done right, then yes we are. We were disrespected, called names and yelled at by Mike, the owner. He gets mad at the wrong people, directing anger at the customer. When you have legitimate concerns and questions you should be able to have these handled in a professional manner – they weren’t. By the end of the project we were told never to call him again as he does not want to talk to us. That sums up this company’s character and ethics. If you are expecting a high quality job we do not recommend this company.

Great, Mike and Gina were great to work with. The end product is gorgeous, and took approximately 3 months from start to finish.

My second project with Reality went as well as the first. Everything on-time and as agreed-upon. No hidden costs, and everything done to my satisfaction. Results were beautiful.

We just got finished with our kitchen remodel and found it to be a positive experience. Mike and Gina were great to work with from start to finish. A few days after talking with us at a home remodeling show they called us to set up an appointment to come to our house to see the scope of the remodel. As soon as they walked in the house and saw the kitchen lay out they had their vision of the remodel and communicated it to us. It went beyond what we thought was possible, giving us options we didn't know existed. Gina was a big help in going with us to pick out cabinets, counter tops, flooring, etc. Having never done this before, it was intimidating, but she was there to make suggestions and guide us through the process. During the entire remodel, Mike kept us informed of the schedule and was readily accessible when questions came up. When a minor glitch would arise, Mike worked through them, gave us options and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. The finished product was beyond what we had envisioned and is simply beautiful.
