He replaced leaking valves under sink. He also replaced the insides of the toilet tank. Before he left I questioned why the handle was so loose. It clearly wasn't working correctly but he told me that's how they work now. When flushed, the toilet continuously ran for a long time. When he had left, I flushed the toilet again and it ran without stopping. I called him and he told me he would be back at 4:30 the next day. No call, no show and no responses to my many messages I sent him. Not only did I loose money taking time off of work, I also had to pay for another plumber to fix what he never completed.

The drain leading away from my laundry sink was leaking. I called my home warrenty company and they gave me RA Ramlow plumbing. I had to call 3 times before he even returned my call. He arrived to do the work and cut the pipe in half (rendering it useless). My brother in law asked how he was going to do it because the joint to the stack was a bit high. He looked at it and said it was a bigger job than he thought and needed to call the warrenty company and would be right back. He then drove away without saying anything. I called the warrenty company to complain and they said that he said he called and said the drain was not installed correctly and they would not cover the work. I explained that he had cut the pipe and drove off and they said they would send him back to couple the pipe so that it would be the way it was. I refused to let him back in my house after the way he handled the situation and just had my brother in law (not a plumber) fix it. I complained but since then my warrenty company has tried to send him out twice. I have demanded a different plumber both times.

Today is the 2nd time we have utilized Ramlow Plumbing services Both times Steve has been professional and right on with his assessment of the problems. The first time he repaired a leak in a downstairs fixture as well as replacing worn parts in one of our upstairs toilets. Unable to schedule a drain clearing today, he recommended another company at our request. He put customer service / peace of mind / satisfaction above his own wallet, demonstrating he is a "class act" as a businessman.

It kind of turned me off. I think they thought this was a minor job and they just weren’t that interested. They never followed through.

He came fairly quickly to assess the situation when we called, told us water heater needed to be replaced. We showed him our certificate of warranty for the unit and he claimed it wasn't valid. He also initially wouldn't call our home warranty company to get authorization to do the work. We were out of the country and my mother-in-law was dealing with the situation, and he didn't want to do any work without us, so he left our leaking and nonfunctioning water heater there until we returned the next day to deal with us directly. When I got in contact with him the next day (by leaving messages, there is nobody else to take calls, apparently), I pointed out that the warranty for the water heater seemed to be valid, and also that our home warranty company will not give me an authorization number until he calls them and explains the work to be done. He agreed to check into it. A few hours later, we got a call from our home warranty company that he had just called and that he cannot get that replacement water heater for us, so we'd need to find someone else to do it, and that we owe him $40 for the service call (towards our deductible). It took me less than a minute to call the Water Heater manufacturer myself and verify that the warranty was indeed valid, and they immediately authorized a replacement. They also said any licensed plumber should be able to get the replacement unit. We called another plumber with good ratings from Angies List.

Although I used Ramlow in the past during a kitchen remodel and rated them highly, this time they simply didn't even respond to my call. Very disappointing.

I've used Ramlow on may occasions - and they always do a stellar job. They've installed a sink, cleaned drains of roots, installed a hot water heater and more. Always very professional and hard working. Very highly recommended.

For the price of $75 I feel we were ripped off. It seemed like the because we had a claim through our Home Warranty, the technician was prepared to do as little work as possible.

Steve Ramlow is the owner of the company. He is really good when it comes to getting the work done in a timely manner. He doesn't over charge and the pricing is good for the value of service that you receive. They are really clean and neat about fixing everything. They also clean up after themselves which is kind of unusual for a plumber. I also found that he does heating and cooling system maintenance too.

The technician arrived on time, a little early actually. He was punctual, courteous, and competent. He had all the parts he needed to fix it when he arrived. Price was not too bad considering what plumbers usually charge. I have used Ramlow Plumbing before and they are my first choice when I need plumbing work performed.

The service call went very smoothly. We have used Ramlow for our furnace several times. We were supplied with a home warranty when we purchased our home, and they are the heating/AC contractor we must use. We have been very happy with each service call from them, especially knowing they will be on time and professional. We are now looking to replace our dinosaur of a furnace and will be getting an estimate from them to do that. We definitely recommend them.

Overall it was a great experience. The plumber actually arrived about 30 minutes early and I had a call letting me know that prior to his arrival. He went to work right away and accomplished the work to my full satisfaction. Because the cost was part of the overall remodel, I wasn't able to break out their cost for this report. I would recommend them and call for any work I need done in the future.

RETURNED CALL PROMPTLY AND WITH MUCH COURTESY. THEIR SCHEDULE WAS BOOKED FOR 2 WEEKS, BUT DUE TO A CANCELLATION, THEY WERE ABLE TO SERVICE ME THE SAME DAY. THEY CALLED 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO THEIR VISIT (AS REQUESTED) TO ALLOW ME ENOUGH TIME TO GET HOME TO MEET THE TECHNICIAN. TECHNICIAN WAS VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL, ARRIVING AT EXACTLY THE TIME GIVEN TO ME. HE EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND ANSWERED QUESTIONS WITHOUT BEING CONDESCENDING OR RUDE. HE ALSO ANSWERED OTHER GENERAL PLUMBING QUESTIONS I HAD AND GAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROJECTS THAT I COULD HANDLE ON MY OWN AND THOSE THAT I WOULD WANT TO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL HIRED. HE COMPLETED THE WORK PROMPTLY AND EXPLAINED WHY THE PROBLEM OCCURRED. HE ALSO EXPLAINED HOW MY HOME WARRANTY SAVED ME 3 X WHAT MY DEDUCTIBLE WAS AND PRAISED ME FOR HAVING IT. OVERALL, I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH RAMLOW PLUMBING.
