 + -1 moreDave Schmidt was on-time, personable and seemed knowledgeable not only of his craft but of others in the local industry. He noted a firebox condition that two others said did not exist, and overall his proposal for repairs seemed like overkill (and of course, was quite costly). More of a Cadillac solution than we were looking for in this situation.

 + -1 moreTHE CHIMNEY WAS LEAKING, WHERE THE FLASHING MEETS THE ROOF. THEY REPLACED THE TAR, BUT IT WASN'T FIXED. HE CAME BACK AND REDID IT, SO I ASSUME IT IS FIXED NOW. HE SAID THAT IF IT CONTINUES TO LEAK, IT IS NOT THE FLASHING. SO, IF IT LEAKS, THEN I HAVE MAJOR PROBLEMS. THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THE SECOND TIME HE CAME. I THOUGHT THAT WAS GREAT!

 + -1 moreHE WAS VERY GOOD, PLEASANT , PUNCTUAL AND HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO ACCOMMODATE ME. HE AT THE TIME DID NOT ACCEPT CHARGE CARDS AND TOOK THE EXPENSE OF GETTING A CHARGE CARD MACHINE SO HE COULD GIVE ME SERVICE.
Description of Work: HE REPAIRED MY FURNACE CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACE CHIMNEY BY TAKING THEM DOWN TO THE ROOF AND REBUILDING THEM REPLACING SOME THE INTERIOR TILE AND THE FIREBOX ON THE FIREPLACE CHIMNEY(FROM THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE) AND THE LINER OF WITH A STAINLESS STEEL LINER.
