The contractor is wonderful – came on time and the work was excellent. I would recommend them to any one.

He hasn't done any work for us but he was very good. He came out, looked at everything and gave us a very professional quote. The quote was for $25000. In order to do the hardscaping they had to remove trees as well as grade and stuff like that and I think that price had incorporated everything. Price wise he was high and we didn't go with him because he was quite high. He was good and his quote was probably close but a little too high. We would use him in the further if something arose and he did propose a good quote.

We had Heidi out as well, she spent lots of time doing / redoing out plan. She gave us the "Grand" picture then we tailored it to what we could afford, with the option to add a little each year. They were competitive to the other big name landscapers in the Elmbrook area. The team that actually did the work was great, very polite and worked as hard as you could imagine. We were very happy and recommend Hapka to our friends. (I do see how the bad review could happen, we had to do some prodding ourselves but we started our plan in November assuming spring execution)

I was referred to Hapka for overall landscape work. Hapka then in turn, brought in "Heidi" who after a few miscommunications and stumbles ("Im going to be late, traffic jam" leading to being over 1 1/2 hrs late) finally came to my house to review the project I had in mind. She was engaging and creative and spent well over an hour walking around the property with me, coming up with ideas and strategizing. It all sounded great. At the end of the site visit, she said she would come up with an overall plan, send it to me and then we would review. I made sure she had my email, cell and home phones and anything else she might have needed to contact me. I was excited to hear from her. And I never did. I tried to follow up with her after a couple of weeks, including several emails. But nothing. At all. Although I think Hapka uses her as a sub, it's to their detriment. Very disappointing experience. In spite of her knowledge and skill, her complete lack of responsiveness basically cratered the project for Hapka. Since she was their recommendation, I felt they should have taken some ownership of the situation.

Tom Hapka was prompt and listened well to our needs at the first meeting, provided a detailed quote and work description. His bid was the lowest of the three solicited. His work crew was very professional and hard working for their two days on the job. The results were as good as, or bettter than expected. A professional job - well done.

The whole construction job took 5+ days. The crew was courteous and respectful of our property. Thanks...Jay

They were very straight forward. They're trying to work with me trying to solve some of my problems so I was happy about that. They were willing to try to make it work. They also have excellent responsiveness.

Looked at all the drains, not just the ones I pointed out that needed to be fixed. Ending up doing some additional adjustments that I had not noticed. In the front yard, dug up the dirt to make sure there was a proper slope out to the street. Took that dirt and filled a low part in the backyard. Cleaned up and took all the old material with him instead of leaving it for me to clean up.

Really good. They were the second SP we had in our home. They did a really great professional job.

Very well. Took about 1 hour. Took all old tile with him for disposal.

THEY CAME OUT PROMPTLY, AND THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND THE PRICE WAS WHAT THEY ESTIMATED IT TO BE. IM VERY SATISFIED AND I WILL USE THEM AGAIN.

CREW WORKED VERY HARD, CLEANED UP AT END OF DAY, QUALITY OF WORK WAS OUTSTANDING.
