Gierach's Grading & Paving, Inc

I cannot speak more highly of the service I received from each person at Gierach's. I received a very prompt and competitive estimate and everyone worked with me, knowing how much we wanted this project completed this fall. Both owners, Dale and Dan, were unbelievably cooperative and I have absolutely no complaints.

Funny story, I drove up to my office and found that our entire parking lot was resurfaced. It looked very nice, but I had not ordered it done! It turns out Gierach's guys had gone to the wrong corner, and did mine instead of the one who had ordered it. He called, and explained. Since it really did not need it, I had just done the year before, I told him that I did not want to pay for it, and that he also needed to replace the parking lines. He agreed, and after some thought, I suggested that we change the way the lines had been to maximize the number of parking places, and I would pay for the resurfacing materials, and a little toward labor, since I would benefit by having a newer surface. He was bummed by what had happened, but accepted responsibility, and they did a great job of redoing the lines. I would use him again.

My gravel driveway had some low spots and needed grading. There was a problem at the street where the city raised the grade, which made it a problem to enter and exit the driveway. Gierach's Grading & Paving responded quickly to my inquiry and sent me a detailed written proposal, a couple of days later. I accepted the proposal, which required a 15% deposit. The work was scheduled the next week. The crew arrived punctually with materials and equipment needed for the job. They listened to my requirements and made good suggestions for grading. They graded and applied the new crushed limestone gravel and finished by rolling it out. They took the time to make sure the job was done properly. I am very, very happy with the results. Even after a heavy rain, the problem areas are gone. My driveway has never looked so good.

The job was done beautifully. Work was completed while I was not there, but the job was done just as I wanted. The driveway looks great. If I ever decide to pave my driveway with asphalt, I will certainly use this company based on the nice work they did on this job.
