custom cabinets
+ -1 moreWe had a deadline and we were pushed back somewhat and so were afraid that they wouldn't meet our deadline, but they did. They went through every detail with us and made some great suggestions. My husband installed all the cabinetry, and the measurements were right on. It was all solid oak construction, prefinished (beautifully), and delivered to us. You just don't find that kind of workmanship anymore today.
Description of Work: We had Essmann do work for us after a fire. They rebuilt a pantry, china cabinet, display cabinet, bathroom vanity and bookcase for us. Of all of the companies that did work for us after the fire, Essmann was by far above and beyond anyone else. My husband is a rough and finish carpenter (25 years), and we have redone three homes ourselves in the years we have been married. So we know quality when we see it. In all our years of working with various companies, Essmann outshines them all. Workmanship was perfect, and I don't use that word lightly. I honestly was amazed at what we got and at the price.

+ -1 moreI DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THROUGH THIS PROJECT WITHOUT DEAN. HE NOT ONLY WAS A RESOURCE, BUT A SOUNDING BOARD AND COMFORTED ME OFTEN DURING MY ORDEAL. I WILL ALWAYS CALL HIM FOR ANY CARPENTRY/CABINETRY NEED. I AM PLANNING ON HAVING HIM MAKE A CUSTOM CABINET FOR OUR NEW TV SYSTEM.
Description of Work: DEAN DID THE CUSTOM CABINETRY AS A SUB-CONTRACTOR FOR MY KITCHEN REMODEL. WHEN IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE CONTRACTOR (YOU HAVE MY REPORT ON BARTELT-FILO) HAD MEASURED INCORRECTLY, HE HELPED ME TO RE-DESIGN, AS WE HAD TO TAKE OUR BACK STAIRCASE OUT TO FIT THE CABINETRY IN. THE CABINETS WERE BEAUTIFUL. HE WAS OPEN TO CHANGES, AND WAS A WONDERFUL RESOURCE IN A HORRIFIC KITCHEN RE-MODEL. MY ONLY COMPLAINT (AND THIS IS MINOR GIVEN HIS TALENT) IS THAT TIME IS RELATIVE TO HIM. HE IS AN ARTIST.
