Very professional, would highly recommend Thermatec Heating and Air.

They came out early Saturday morning and that was great. They were friendly. But the tech who came out was not able to fix our problem - the AC was not turning on. He told me that we needed to get a new circuit board and replace our smart thermostat with an old-fashioned one. My husband has to step out while the tech was here and I felt like the tech was giving up on our problem (he had been on the phone with someone else trying to figure it out) and trying to get out before my husband got home to ask his questions. I asked if there was any way we could continue to use our smart thermostat. He said it was not possible. He was clearly biased against Ecobee, Nest, and their counterparts due to the negative things he was saying about them. Both my husband and I felt like there was more to be done. Long story short, my husband realized that the AC unit was not even connected to the board. He connected the wires and now it all works fine. This should have been simple for an expert to fix. At the end of the visit, the tech did not give me a receipt. Not the end of the world, but it is a mark against their professionalism.

The appointment was for 11:00 they did not show up till after 2pm. I had made arrangements and then my husband had to leave work to meet them. I am fine changing an appointment and can be flexable. However, I had to call them to see if they were running on time. To me that is a serious lack on customer service and a poor first impression.

The price for the job far exceeds comparable.

The tech showed up on time, provided an honest estimate, and completed the work to their high standard. Highly recommended!

Seems like had performed some kind of diagnostics, had not received any summary for further repair (was not fixed the first time) nor prices for needed parts.

I will hire them again if needed.

Friendly, well equipped (used gadgets I've never seen before), realized I could trust this company when no attempt was made to tell me my A/C "needed" something. (We all know that feeling, right?) Will definitely use them again if I need to.
