+ -1 moreThey poured the concrete right over the existing crumbling sandstone porch floor. They did not compact the soil, or wait for nature to compact before they poured the sidewalk. Now there is a 12" gap under my sidewalk. Cannot get them to come back out to fix/replace the sidewalk, let alone return calls. Guess you get what you pay for.
Description of Work: Poured a porch floor. Repaired a corner of the house foundation. Installed a new section of concrete sidewalk were the sidewalk tied into the foundation they repaired.

+ -1 moreI would never use them again. I wanted to take out an ad in the paper to tell people to not use them but my wife wouldn’t let me.
Description of Work: After I had radiant floor heat put in my barn, Affordable Concrete came to pour the floor. The concrete was totally uneven; they didn’t do what I asked them to do. The only thing level in the barn was the shower and it was supposed to be sloped. My tile guy had to rip that out to make it sloped.

+ -1 moreWhat we got was a 2" dip variance across the whole floor, we are talking 1800 sq. ft. and not a level area making it impossible to lay tile over this. The shower stall ended up being the only level area which was supposed to be sloped! The owner came out and said it looked fine to him and would not do anything about the uneveness. Now we must find someone to fix his mistakes.
Description of Work: Affordable Concrete was to pour a light weight, level concrete floor over our radiant infloor heat system. The shower floor was to be sloped towards the drain, the rest of the floor was to be leveled so we could tile over it.
