+ -1 moreI used to see hand-lettered signs for Don's Lawn Service on the side of the road just north of College Ave and Pennsylvania Ave and I finally jotted the number down. I was glad to see the business on Angie's List and on March 14th I called for an estimate on lawn care. I believe it was Don I spoke to but he was interrupted at some point, by something or someone, so he took my number and said he'd call me back. That was more than three weeks ago and I never heard back from him. I see the signs on the roadside are professionally printed now so maybe Don has more business than he can handle.
Description of Work: No work was done.

Description of Work: Cleared snow from driveway and sidewalk. Heavy snow was hurried and plow operator seemed to be learning and I was charged $65. I didn't see extra $20. For heavier snow when I signed on for the service.

Description of Work: Gave them very specific instructions on how I wanted my lawn groomed, and don't know the difference between 3.5 inches and 1.5 inches. Scalped grass, told them to not only not come back, but that I wasn't paying.

Description of Work: I had called previously to see if Don could give us a quote on the common area to our association. I gave him the details to the location and subdivision and mentioned that we were looking for another contractor. He agreed to come out with the next follow up phone call. The association in the meanwhile chose to stay with the current lawn care specialist. My husband called Don yesterday to see if he would be able to do our yard alone on an as need basis. After giving the location of our property - same as before - it was mentioned that he does not come out this far. It is unfortunate that this opportunity was declined as we live in a neighborhood of generous sized homes, each looking for opportunities to hire a quality lawn care specialist, who offers their services at a reasonable price and communicates well to the client.

Description of Work: They did lawncare work for my restaurant. They would mow the lawn, trim the edges and general clean up. I used them every two weeks from July til November.

Description of Work: Don did an excellent job for the price quoted. I was injured and could not cut my lawn this summer. Even though I was a bit out of Don's was and had a small yard , his men cut it on an as needed basis, in other words they just didn't cut it because it was Tuesday. His workers were most professional, neat, and fast. The price I quoted was June to October. Would highly reccommend.
