The contractores were prompt, efficient and courteous. They cleaned up after their jobs were completed. We were very pleased with the results of their work.

Excellent! Not the least expensive nor the most expensive but definately worth the price in workmanship and customer service.

Four workmen came to install the windows. Two on the outside, one inside. The other went back and forth. They came to work and got right at it. All debrie was cleaned up. They were careful about my furniture and carpeting. When they left, you would never have known that any work was done! The follow up from the company was excellent. Our salesman was great - no pressure. We would definetely do business with Reliance again.

Their workmanship is excellent, and the product is wonderful. The door looks beautiful and should save money on heating and cooling. They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. They worked hard and came on time, and the project was completed in the time frame they promised. I did not compare prices, but I was happy with the price I paid. I got their name from Angie's List and I am happy with them in every way.

We had all original windows, 90 years old, and decided to replace them with triple-pane argon-filled low-e energy star vinyl replacement windows. 8 of which are double-hung, 1 slider, and 2 "1/4 1/2 1/4" windows with sliders on the side and stationary middle section. Overall it was an interesting experience, with more snags here and there than we would have expected. Unfortunately, one of the windows was crushed during transport, and then when the replacement arrived and installation began we discovered that the manufacturer sent 9 of 11 windows with the wrong glass system. As we had taken off work to oversee the installation, the installers went ahead and removed / replaced all of the windows that day so we could get the majority of the work accomplished anyway. A second installation occurred when the correct panes came in, however we found that yet 2 of the 9 remaining windows were made incorrectly - again - this time one was the wrong size, a second was created with the lock mechanism in the incorrect spot. However, the crew very quickly swapped out the panes of the 7 they could, cleaned up after themselves, and were friendly and professional. The last 2 windows were swapped out a few weeks later during the evening to accomodate our work schedules, which was much appreciated. After all is said and done, we are very pleased with the windows and just love how much outdoor noise they block out. It took longer than we expected to complete, but the company was responsive to all concerns and did their best to resolve all issues as they arose. I've been told the manufacturer's quality control is being reviewed, so hopefully they will get things straightened out soon.

Representative from Reliance went door to door in my neighborhood to solicit business; they made an appointment to give me a quote on siding my home, and did not show up or call.

The Reliance company is a very professional, detail oriented company. They always contacted us with updates on the construction of our new window and arrived when they said they would to install it. The workmanship was awesome. We recommend them.

Unfortunately they don't carry our windows. They were all very nice and referred us to the correct company for assistance.

--> Sales: The sales representative was pleasant and punctual. The main office staff was also very pleasant and responsive. The sales rep demonstrated the windows and answered all of my questions. During the initial sales discussions - one of the benefits mentioned was the tax credit for energy star installations. This tax credit expired in 2007 and not applicable in 2008 - therefore the tax credit did not help me. I should have double checked this element of the sales presentation before the purchase. The tax benefit has been reinstated for 2009. I stressed early and often the importance of cleanliness and my concern for lead paint being disturbed. I was told the installation would be done very cleanly and not to be concerned. --> Installation: The installation was done in one day. It was very quick and the installers were very pleasant. The interior and exterior trim of my home contains lead paint. I have a child at home which makes install cleanliness of primary importance with regard to the paint. The installation process requires cutting the paint along the stops of the window. This generated small paint chips all over the place. My inside trim was not excellent to begin with but it is now in even worse shape and touch up paint will not help. Even opening and closing the shades causes paint chips to fall from the cut trim. While removing outside trim, exterior paint chips were strewn about. One of the main sources of childhood lead poisoning is lead paint chips in the yard surrounding your home. Large and small paint chips were left under each window. I tried to clean the chips up after the install but I found that attempting to pick up the pieces generated even smaller pieces which fell deeper into the grass. When you buy a new car - they detail the vehicle so you feel good about your purchase after the fact. I spent a couple hours the weekend after the install cleaning all the windows. Most of the windows were dirty and some had caulk and install residue on them. If your interior trim is painted - I would either do one window yourself first to see the damage that will be done or I would not have the replacement windows installed. Also if you have painted interior trim and are suspicious of the paint - either ask them to bring a HEPA shop vac along or use your own to clean up with. If the exterior has lead paint (which it likely does if it was built anywhere near the 40's) - I would ask to have the yard area covered before the install. --> After: The main office did apologize and was mostly understanding of my issues. All the people I dealt with were very nice. --> Windows: The reviews and research I was able to do on the windows themselves showed that they are a high quality. I would recommend the windows to others. I am very happy with both their operation and build quality.

They did a very fine job and even handled my special requests with out any issues.

I was extremely impressed with the quality of workmanship on all of the projects. The contractor showed up every day and worked all day. And in the end I have a beautiful home. They were very professional and very meticulous, and wanted more than anything for you to be pleased. Every time they would leave for the day they would clean up after themselves so the homeowners would not have to. I would definitely recommend Reliance to anyone I know who needs siding or windows.

The work was well done. The installer was creative, well organized, efficient, and neat. The entire staff bent over backwards to make me a satisfied customer.

The quality of the window sample and the choices available is excellent. The price quoted seemed fair.

Outstanding. The whole operation was extremely professional. The initial contact was made by one of their guys going door to door. He set up the appointment with a sales consultant and gave us an orange piece of paper (so we could find it easier) with the info about the appointment. They called to confirm the appointment the day before and the sales consultant arrived right on time. The sales "pitch" was a beautiful job of consultative selling - he brought samples and did demos to show us all the benefits of the new windows. They offered numerous discounts and zero interest financing for six months. The installation was just as professional. The installer arrived right on time and the installation process was incredibly efficient - two guys replaced all 18 windows in 6 hours. Plus, they did a great job of cleaning up behind themselves. They were very courteous and thoughtful. They never used any profanity while they were in my house - even when one guy hit his thumb with a hammer.

They are very professional and quick. From start to finish, it took between five and six hours. They were good about cleaning up any mess and also very considerate as there was very minimal inconvenience to us.

couldn't be more pleased.It isn't easy doing such work in wisconsin in february,but the two men that came over to do the job were finished within four hours.The window is flush and secure,and all leftover rubbish carted away.I couldn't be more pleased with the folks at Reliance and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone,

The sales representative was very courteous and took time to demo their products and explain all the options I had. I received a 20% discount right off the bat without having to ask for any price reductions due to a friend working for the company. This way I didn't have to go through all the negotiation all companies typically do. All correspondence with the company over the phone was excellent. After the paper work for the financing was signed (took me a while due to the refinancing process being under way) the windows were installed within the time frame I was quoted during the order. I am very happy with the quality of the service I have received and the product I purchased.

I asked for quotes from 5 companies to install windows as everyone knows there are a lot of companies that lack customer service so I was happy that a Reliance representative was on time when they came to provide a quote to me that shows they respect my time and it reflects that organizations professionalism. The rep explained in detail their product, it's cost efficiency (my benefit) and worked with my budget in mind. Out of the 5 companies this was the "only" one that was no pressure to have to buy NOW. You know in your gut when things are right, you trust your judgment that someone is honest that's when I knew. The rep gave me an installation date walked me through the process of what to expect including the call prior to install as a reminder it still worked for my schedule. At time of installation, the installers were professional and did everything possible to minimize mess, they even vacuumed. I didn't expect that. Installers wanted my 100% satisfaction before leaving.

Reliance arrived on time for the estimate and were very courteous and professional. They showed me all my options and helped me decide on what was best for my home and my budget. I did decide after about a week to go with Reliance after reviewing all the quotes I had received from others. Their salesperson was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The quality of work was excellent and the installers performed over and above my expectations.
