POLKA CONSTRUCTION LLC

My concrete patio was replaced a year ago. Several months after it was completed a dip appeared in front of my entrance, right where people walk. It was wet and dirty in summer and an ice hazard last winter. The company that did the original work is no longer in business. Polka Construction spent a day cutting and cracking out all the old pieces, then cleaned and prepared the area for new concrete. Now that it is done, there is no way to tell that it is not part of the original patio. The men were friendly, but most importantly, they did a fine job in a timely manner. I am well pleased.

Joe, the owner, did the work along with two other helpers, and this work, too was OUTSTANDING!! He arrived on time the day he said he would and had the right equipment to do the job efficiently and thoroughly. The work included the placement of 4 Sona tubes so the patio would never move. In talking to Joe I understand that he’s been involved in this trade for many years and his company does both small and large concrete jobs. Based upon the foregoing, I highly, highly recommend him. I don't know what the charge was as it was built into the over-all charge for the basement project.
