lawn mower repair
+ -1 moreI do not remember the name of the man who helped us but he was very nice and was able to answer any questions we had about the mowers. The location of the store was also near our house and they helped load up our new mower. I feel confident that I can rely on Harry's True Value if there are any problems with my mower in the future as they service the mowers they sell.
Description of Work: I brought in a 1997 LawnBoy Mower for service on the self-propelled drive, a 'tune up' which included blade sharpening and a new throttle cable. I was quoted costs for the throttle cable and tune up and told I would be contacted in a week about the drive. In the meantime it rained and our grass started to grow so I got impatient and called. I was told that the drive would be expensive to repair with parts and labor and would end up being 4/5 the cost of a new mower. After looking at mowers at other stores, we found the prices at Harry's very competitive and bought a new Toro. Since we bought a lawn mower from them, they waived labor and diagnostic costs on my old mower.

+ -1 moreBoth times we took the snow blower in in the evening and it was ready early the next morning. Price for each repair was very reasonable, approximately $50.
Description of Work: First, our snow blower needed a tuneup. Later, it needed repair when a chunk of ice damaged the auger.
