Horrible horrible experience and I didn't even get to the point of meeting them. They received my contact information through a referral service. A lady named Karie reached out to me to inquire about the job we were looking to get a quote for. We set up an appointment for 2 weeks out because of my schedule and the Thanksgiving holiday. Our meeting was schedules for a Tuesday at 5:30. At some point in my conversation with Karie it was brought up that I had a meeting for a quote with another contractor at 7. She said, "Oh wait, that might be a problem, Corrine, who is meeting you, is always late, if you have another appointment after that, that could cause you some issues." My response was, "Well this is a home we are purchasing, we are not living there, we need her to be on time as we make an appt to be at the home and yes, we have another company coming for a quote after." Her response was, "Ok, ok, I'll just make sure to get her out the door and make sure she is on time." This should have been all I needed to cancel the appt, but I didn't. The day before the appointment Karie called me again, inquiring if we ever did are kitchen remodel and if we would like to set up an appointment to get a quote. I told her we had an appointment for the very next day at 5:30. She said, "Oh, that's not with our company! We have a meeting on the other side of town tomorrow at that time." I said, "Is your company Creative Wood Products, cause I am to meet a woman named Corrine." She responded saying she must have forgotten to book the time and would try to cancel their other appointment. I told her if she was not able to I would need to know because I had the other contractor coming later and would want to move his time up. She went on again to give me the same spiel about how Corrine is always late and that might cause me issues. I explain, "Yes, you have already said this to me, and I already told you her being late was not an option." She again said she would make sure she was on time. This should have been my second big red flag. The day of our scheduled meeting. I was getting in my car from work at 5:02, and I got a call from Karie. Me, "Hello." Karie "Are you there already?" This is how she started our conversation Me, "Am I where?" Her, "At the house." Me, "No I am just leaving work." Her, "Ok well your gonna wanna hold off." Me, " And why is that?" Her, "Well I just realized she is coming from the other side of town and she will get stuck in traffic and will probably be late." Me, "So is she even on her way?' Karie, "Yes, yes, she already left. I'm gonna give you her number so you can check in with her." Me, "I'm driving, can you text me her contact info?" Karie, "Yes I'll do that." So she texts me a number and a message saying, "She'll be there at 5:45." At 5:46 I text the number to let her know to use the back door and I get a response saying I must have the wrong number. So I call Karie, she says frantically, before I even say she gave me the wrong number, this is now 5:52 "Oh my gosh I was just on the phone with Corrine, there are two streets one is an Avenue one is Drive, which one are you?" (complete lie by the way) I tell her it is avenue, she tells me she should be there in the next few minutes, I tell her if she's not there in the next 5 minutes we will need to cancel, she says she is closer than that, I inform her she had given me the wrong number, she tells me she didn't, I correct her. We hang up. A minute later Corrine calls me, "I'm on the highway, 6 minutes away my GPS says." 5:54. This confirms the avenue or drive part was BS, and that she was not lost and real close but just late. At 6:00 I call Corrine back, she immediately says she is just a down the road. I start to say, "I am sorry you have driven here but at this point I have had such a horrible experience with your company that I know we will not be using you and don't want to waste either of our time." I made it to driven and she hung up on me. SHE HUNG UP ON ME. Not to be heard from again. Not got disconnected and called me back, this "professional" woman who owns a business had the maturity of a 12 year old and HUNG UP ON ME!!! Wow, my husband and I were just floored!! Actually felt really grateful that we just dodged a HUGE bullet!
