Cream City Tile & Bath Remodeling

Jeff was very pleasant. He was on time and gave us the estimate very quickly. We were not happy with the amount of work we would have to do and the lack of help in selecting the products. If I was a do it yourselfer who needed help, Jeff would probably be a good match. Customer Response to Jeff's response- I stand by what I said. This was not a good match. I was able to find a company through Angie's list that met all my needs. I estimate that we only paid about $2500 more than Jeff's estimate. (When you figure in hiring an electrician and other people to do work he could not do.) However that also meant we were able to get the bathroom we wanted. Everything was custom made to our specifications. I also got a cast iron tub. Jeff said that it would be difficult to bring one to the second floor. We are within 10 years of retirement and wanted a bathroom that we dreamed of. Sometimes the bottom line isn't just money. It is what you really want.

Excellent. The owner came to give us an estimate. It was 3 tiles and a great estimate, so he offered to do it right then. He did. It was done and that was great!

He was great about recommending they right type of tile for our needs. He actually went out and purchased the tile for us, then came back and did the repair. He was great! I didn't have to do anything! The tile matched great and it was so convenient for me. He cleaned up well and left no mess.

The results are beautiful, and Jeff was very careful with laying out the tile and getting a level placement. There were delays ordering the tile so he wound up juggling his schedule a bit and doing the work in two different stages.

Jeff did a great job. He squeezed me in around other projects, was at my house for an estimate within 24 hours of my initial phone call, and had the work completed correctly within three days of the estimate. When another leak was noted, Jeff was confident it wasn't from his work (which it wasn't) and offered to come re-check everything at no additional charge. He stands behind his work and does a great job. I would hire him again for sure, and will once the other stuff is addressed and we have to re-tile another section.

Scheduling was a little difficult, but the work is fine.

Jeff does excellent work. He had to lay slate tile, which was not an easy task. Most of the tiles were uneven and had to be cut. Jeff is dependable and always follows through on his promises.

Jeff returned my call about 1 1/2 weeks after I left a message for him. He stated he thought he left me a message before (he had not), and was calling to follow up. I explained what I was looking to have done. And, by the way he was responding to my request, it seemed like he didn't want the work; he was talking himself out of the job before seeing it! He did come out, and his attitude was the same, all of the reasons why it couldn't be done/he wasn't going to do it. He didn't even give me a quote. It is possible that the work may not be the recommended direction to go, but he did not offer alternative suggestions for business either. I can't imagine I have the only bathroom remodel in Milwaukee!

Jeff is fantastic. I got another quote for this job for $11,000, which of course included a lot of work I didn't really want done. Jeff did exactly what I asked, gave some particularly helpful suggestions about what I could & couldn't do for a reasonable price. I am very pleased with the work. I highly recommend him for work that primarily includes ceramic tile or flooring installation & would call him again. A week after the initial job was done, he made a trip back to work on a small project in another bathroom in the house, that someone else might have considered too small.

Work was done as promised. Quality of work was excellent. Very pleasant to work with and very neat. Would HIGHLY recommend Jeff for your remodeling job.

CALLED AND ASKED FOR QUOTE. TRADED VOICEMAILS AND ENDED UP GOING WITH GROUT MASTERS INSTEAD BECAUSE OF TIMING. ALTHOUGH, I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE PERSISTENCE THAT CREAM CITY SHOWED WITH TRYING TO CONTACT ME.

JEFF ADAIR CALLED BACK WITHIN 2 DAYS. BECAUSE I HAD THE MATERIALS, HE WAS ABLE TO OFFER PERFORMING THE WORK THE NEXT DAY AT HALF THE PRICE OF PREVIOUS BID. WORK DONE WAS EXCEPTIONAL, TIMELY AND LEFT BATH ROOM AS CLEAN AS HE FOUND IT.

EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP, AND VERY NICE GUY. A GOOD VALUE TOO.

HE WORKED VERY HARD FROM EARLY MORNING, UNTIL EARLY EVENING UNTIL HE WAS FINISHED,WHICH REALLY IMPRESSED ME AND TOOK ALL DEBRI TO THE TRASH CARTS BEFORE HE WOULD LEAVE. HE ALSO CUT DOWN ALL THE DOORS WHICH MOST OTHER COMPANIES I RECEIVED QUOTES FROM WOULD NOT DO. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK AND WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JEFF, HE IS A VERY SKILLED CERAMIC INSTALLER.

THE COMPANY PROVIDED A PROMPT RESPONSE TO THE ESTIMATE REQUEST. THEY OFFERED A FAIR PRICE. THEY COMPLETED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MANNER. THEY LEFT THE AREA CLEAN AND CAME BACK IMMEDIATELY ON REQUEST TO CORRECT ONE SMALL PROBLEM. THEY PROVIDED EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP.

GOOD WORK, PLEASANT AND HONEST WORKER. THE MOST CONSCIENTIOUS OF ANY ESTIMATES I RECEIVED.

THE LEVEL OF CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS OUTSTANDING, THE WORK WAS BEAUTIFUL, HE WORKED WITH OUR SCHEDULE, EXTREMELY TRUSTWORTHY. WE CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT JEFF OR THE WORK HE DID. WE ARE PLANNING ON REMODELING OUR KITCHEN; HE WILL BE THE FIRST PERSON WE CALL.

THE WORK WAS ALL COMPLETED WITHIN TWO DAYS, AND THE PRICING WAS VERY REASONABLE. A BEAUTIFUL JOB!

SOME OF THE CAULK WORK WAS TOO THIN, BUT JEFF CAME AND RE-CAULKED THE CORNERS. DESPITE TROUBLES WITH SCHEDULING, JEFF WAS QUICK AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

THE OWNER WAS VERY NEAT, POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. PRICE WAS WHAT I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED AND NOT OUT OF LINE. ALL WORK WAS UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS AND I AM VERY PICKY AS TO QUALITY. I AM PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE HIM TILE THE BATHROOM FLOORS.

THIS JOB WAS VERY REASONABLE. I RECEIVED A QUOTE ON ANOTHER JOB THAT I THINK ISN'T AS REASONABLE AS THE FIRST JOB WAS, BUT JEFF DOES DO GOOD WORK.

I HAD OTHER CONTRACTORS OUT THAT WERE GOING TO CHARGE ME OVER TWICE AS MUCH AS MUCH AS HE DID. HE WAS EXCELLENT. IN TALKING TO HIM I COULD TELL HE WAS HONEST, HE DID A LOT OF LITTLE EXTRA THINGS THAT OTHER COMPANIES MIGHT NOT HAVE DONE. TRUE CRAFTSMAN.
