Tim was absolutely wonderful to work with and very responsive. The cost was very reasonable and he did a great job!

We had already picked out the colors we wanted, and when we showed them to Tim he suggested we do an accent color in the Master Bedroom because of it's unique features, so we purchased a second color for that part. He came to the house with one other person, and when we saw the room afterwords it was absolutely beautiful. He did the accent color like he described, and continued the two-tone accent in the walk-in closet off the bedroom. We were very happy with how it turned out, and he even gave us some ideas for the rest of the house when we get around to painting. We will definitely use Bast Painting again, and there is so much more to paint!

Tim and his crew were great to have in our home. They were cheerful and kept me abreast of the project's progress in the various rooms, and even showed me a couple of tricks since I did some of the work myself originally. Everything was covered in tarps and they helped me move the heavier furniture, so nothing was dripped on. I'm very happy with the work they did, and already planning for the rest of the house!

I chose Bast because of the good reviews on Angies list. Normally I do the painting. But we bought a house with a large living room with a vaulted ceiling and beams. I don't do ladders. The previous owners had painted the room a wierd purple color including one outside door. Tim told me exactly what paint to buy. The door looks fantastic and the cieling and walls are perfect. They even did some patching work because there was some old water damage. Tim and his partner did a great job. They were prompt and finished the job in a timely manner. It is very apparent that Tim loves his work and strives to do his best. I definitely would (will) hire them again. I'm ready for Christmas!

I liked the work Tim and his fellow painter Wade completed for me 6 weeks ago and asked them back to paint my remaining bedroom/study. I contacted Tim when I had some time off from work and he generously worked me into his schedule within a week. Tim created a new neutral color he named "wheat" that looks very nice in the room from some the left over paints.The work was completed carefully, efficiently and I am happy with the result. Just knowing the questions to ask and finding the right person for the job is not my strong suit and a little stressful. I am so happy to have found very good people who do very good work at a fair price. They are Pro's. I will choose Bast Painting again for my next project. I'm planning for next year now...that bathroom wallpaper has to come down.

Tim came out to give us an estimate and was very helpful in assisting us with color choices. We had some very dark colors to cover, and we are so happy they're gone! Tim made sure that every bit of the old color was completely covered, and we couldn't be happier with the result; he painted our living room/dining room, kitchen, hallway, master bedroom and master bath. Tim is extremely punctual, careful and clean in his work habits, pleasant to have around and someone I trust. We will be calling him again soon when we're ready for three other rooms to be painted.

Tim was on time as usual and did a great job as usual. His price estimate was right on and his work was great. I'd recommend Tim to anyone.

I had Tim and Wade back to paint my kitchen and rear entry hall. The wall used to be wallpapered and they did a great job removing all the remaining little pieces of paper, and thoroughly washing and priming the walls for paint. The finished product looks great.

Quite well. We had cathedral ceilings in both rooms (adjoining) so that was a bit of a challenge. Also the familiy room we were painting over previously painted wood paneling, so that surface was very rough with lots of pits and channels. Quoting process was smooth. We scheduled the work on a Friday and following Monday to minimize disruption and Tim was flexible about that which was appreciated. Overall pleased with the work, the promptness and on time that Tim & Wade were. We appreciated Tim's perspective on number of aspects from the color selection to options along the way. They were professional and courteous with prep and cleanup. One minor thing is wish they would have had some floor runners going to and from the kitchen sink number of times. Pleased with the quality of work, would have them do work again & would recommend to others.

I removed my own wallpaper, with great tips from Blast Painters. They patched drywall holes, sanded and painted the room. They vacuumed /cleaned well after. Did a very neat and professional job. It looks like new! Thank you Blast Painters

Tim showed up on time every day and was prepared for the day's tasks. He worked non-stop and barely took time for lunch. He was extremely conscientious and took great care in protecting furniture and carpets. Tim and his crew worked until they were at an appropriate stopping point and arrived the next day on time and prepared to work. When they finished, we could not have been happier. We love the paint and wished we had met Tim sooner. We will be finishing the basement of this home and will definitely be hiring Tim and his talented team.

I discovered Bast painting on Angie's list . When I called, Tim came over after work the same day to give me an estimate. Tim is a great project advisor. At first I was just going to go with basic white because I wanted fresh paint to go with new flooring buI still had old countertops and wallpaper that I couldn't change at this time . I had no ideas how to update the colors to make both the old and the new work together. Tim had suggestions and ideas that I never would have considered on my own. The result was a relaxing space witih fresh colors that modernized the look. Scheduling the work went very smoothly. Tim came with Wade. Both were very professional and people you would be comfortable having in your home. Small holes and flaws in the walls were fixed before painting. Tim checked throughout the process to be sure I was liking the colors we had decided upon. The work was finished in one day. Cleaned up afterwards and help move the furniture.. I was very pleased with the work they did and use Bast painting again.

Tim did an excellent job with my project. He was extremely helpful with making color recommendations. Tim has an accute eye for color and is very sharing with his expertise. Also, Tim helped with locating a person to do some floor and moulding repair. He and his partner also deconstructed three closets at my request. After the project was completed, Tim came back to adjust a color on the feature wall to work better with some recently installed stone work. Tim's work is top notch. He aso was meticulous with cleaning up after himself. Tim Bast is a pro that goes way beyond just painting. I will use Tim for any future project.

With a short search on Angie's List we came upon Bast Painting, were impressed by the ratings, so gave Tim a call. Within a short time he connected, visited our home and gave us an estimate on what the cost of our job would be. The cost seemed reasonable for the amount of work involved and we were anxious to have him start.Two days later he was in our home with Wade, another painter, and work was underway. Each area took a day to complete and it was amazing to see the transformations. Tim was a good resource for advice on areas to highlight with focal colors and repair work was excellent. The refinishing of the window ledge and the custom fitting of our vent were things that were noticed and added to the job on his part, just to make the job look its best in the room....so nice! The two guys were obviously skilled, as all cutting in was done with no taping and the speed at which they accomplished their task was impressive. Both Tim and Wade were personable, and fun to have around. Tim even brought a sample of specially mixed coffee beans for us to try!All in all a positive experience!

We had an initial consultation with Tim which went extremely well. He is very easy to work with and provided a quote in a timely fashion. He was great in helping us choose our colors, he has quite an eye for color. He started and finished as he stated. Best, he did an amazing job. His cut lines are perfect! We had such a great experience with Tim, that we are getting a quote from him to do another job.

The overall experience was great. Tim and his partner got the work done in one day and did a great job not only in there workmanship but in cleaning up afterwards. The second day he installed the crown molding and it was that perfect accent for the room. Great Job !

Tim came over to our home 2 different times before he started the work. The first time he met with me and we discussed the overall idea of what we needed painted and a few specifics. The second time he came over he discussed colors, accents, and scope of work with us. Tim explained to us what type of paint to buy, how many gallons of each we would need, and what he was going to do. He also made time in his schedule to get our home painted before we moved in. Tim and Wade arrived on Monday and painted through Wednesday. Tim was very receptive of our thoughts and ideas and also was very nice when we added a few other areas for him to paint. The paint in our home looks wonderful and was done extremely well!

Tim is a true professional. He really cares about the work he does. He is easy to work with, a great communicator,and does exactly what he says he will do. His work is flawless. Tim and his partner Steve were the best painters we've ever encountered. They came around 9am on Monday and finished Wednesday; the whole interior painted! They painted the downstairs first, taking care to repair any holes or discrepancies in the drywall. Tim is a magician with a paint brush, not needing any tape to brush around edges or corners. After finishing downstairs, he and Steve proceeded to paint the walls leading up our stair case and ultimately to the bedrooms and bathrooms. They were careful to vacuum after painting and moved all furniture back into place. The total result is amazing. We love the new colors and couldn't be happier with Tim. He's the best!

Tim is great. He is professional, responsive and actually cares abour his customers. He is extremely trust worthy and stands behind his work 100%. The timeframe for me to get my condo painted was tight. I got married on 4/14 and my wife and I are moving in on 4/28. Of course we went on vacation/honeymoon the week of 4/16 which was the only week Tim was available. I gave him a set of keys to get in and out. He and his team (2 others) came in and transformed the white walls in to a fantastic beautifully painted condo. I had absolutely no issues or concerns that I would not be there to supervise and make sure everything got done how I wanted it. The first time I met Tim and we were looking at what I wanted to have done, he made some recommendation of minor color changes and which walls should have accent colors. I took his advice and it truly looks AMAZING!!! Honestly, meet Tim and you won't need to meet another painter. His prices are competitive, he is honest and trustworthy, and he truly cares about his customers and the finish product. One thing that really stood out about the rest (I got 4 total estimates) - Tim has you buy the paint, this way you get the best discounts possible. Whether it be his contractor discount or if the paint store has a better sale going on. I spent approximately $400 in paint and all the other paint contractors where bidding over $600 in paint. A true sign Tim is honest and is lookig out for the best interest of his customers check books. If I have more painting needs in the future. I won't be wasting my time getting estimates. I will be calling Tim!

His prices were very reasonable. It was so reasonable I decided to hire him right away. He did not fool around, he got to the job and wasn't sitting around. He just took one short break for a sandwich. He filled all cracks and holes even though I told him he didn't have to be fussy. He said he wouldn't feel right if he didn't do it. Now you can't tell there were any problems in the walls. He helped me pick out the colors and told me where to buy teh best paint. He moved all the large pieces of furniture. Because I was too tired to vacuum he said he would, and he vacuumed my living room floor. He knocked $25 off the bill just because. I am very pleased. He cleaned up after himself and he shook my hand on the deal and after the job. It was important to him that I be happy with the work. He also let me know how to best care for the walls. I would recommend him to anyone.

This was my second time using Bast Painting. I had 2 bedrooms in need of painting so I called Tim Bast again. He returned my call immediately and we scheduled the painting for a week or two away. Then he called me to say one of his jobs had been changed to another day so could he come the following day. I was ready for him so I said sure, the sooner the better.!!! He and Steve were very prompt and efficient once again. I had bought some paint that I thought would look good in my bedroom, but when Tim put a bit on the walls - holy cow - it was way too dark!!!! So he suggested blending a mixture of white with what I had bought (he figured out the ratio) and it turned out to be a softer version of what I had originally. Looks great!! The job was completed in 1 day and again they cleaned up after themselves. Can't say enough about these two guys. So if you need painting done, I would highly recommend Tim Bast. I am very happy with the results and will call them again if I need any more painting done in the future.
