9/30/2020 Tree removal Very efficient crew! They showed up right on time and got straight to work. Took down our 60 year old maple tree in 6 hours. Including grinding the stump and clean up! Very satisfied with the results. Cleanup was perfect. Would recommend this company. I can’t wait for them to come do our back yard in spring!

Agreed to a 10/31 appointment. I called on 10/31 to confirm and was told they would be there that afternoon and they would call if there were problems. Called again at 4:30 and was told still out on the job but someone will call me back. 11/1-Left message, no call back. 11/2-left message, no call back. 11/3-left message cancelling job. Very unprofessional, I would not count on them doing what they promised.

They were big trees so they had to cut them down by climbing. They knew what they were doing. They were reasonably on time.

Excellent. Two fellows worked a solid 90 minutes on my one tree and neighbors have complimented me on the appearance/outcome.

I called this company as I they had ground down/removed 7 stumps and cut down/ground down/removed stumps on 2 additional small trees on my property in July 2012. One of the trees cut down was a red flowering crab tree. As Summer 2013 progressed, I was noticing more and more tree shoots coming up in my yard and my neighbors yard. Some of the tree shoots were as much as 15 feet away. I called AAA Tree Service to inquire on what we needed to do to stop tree shoots - I have been spraying the shoots with Roundup, but just more and more shoots keep coming up. I called AAA Tree Service three times (9/3/13, 9/5/13 and 9/13/13) and the same young woman answered the telephone and responded that she would pass on my message and phone number to Steve, the arborist. With the call on 9/13/13, I even stated to the young woman that if Steve was too busy with other jobs, would they have any other arborist in the area that they could recommend. She assured me that she would have Steve call me by the end of the day (I had called at 9:20am). It is now 9/22/13 and I have received no phone call from Steve or the company. Very discouraging and disappointing.

Called and emailed them three times to try and have them come for an estimate. Not given the courtesy of a return phone call or an email. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have had really good luck with them and they have done a lot of service for us. In the past they also cut one tree down for my mother-in-law and trimmed another one. Their price was a good price and the quality of work is great. They were very open to my review of their services; they told me I could come to another location to watch them take a tree down; which I did.

Worst experience I've ever had with a contractor! I called AAA Tree Service (Franklin, WI) for some stump-grinding and tree removal. They said they'd be here mid-morning (9-10:00) April 5 for an estimate. I waited until well after 12:00 noon and finally called, leaving a message with the receptionist, who said she'd contact the crew to find out what's going on. I got a call back that someone would be stopping by shortly, which eventually happened. The explanation was that they were running late on another job, but no one bothered to alert me. I called back a couple days later to accept the estimate (despite noticing an F grade with the Better Business Bureau, which probably was a tip-off). They scheduled the job for Wednesday, May 18, though gave me no specific time. I ended up waiting all day, with no one contacting me about their scheduled arrival. Finally I called about 4 pm to see where they were, since I had to leave by 5:30 for another appointment. I was told they'd contact the crew and get back to me. I got a call back a few minutes later that they were still working on another job that would take close to an hour and were quite a distance away (oddly, the said they were working on storm damage that occurred after my job was scheduled and apparently pre-empted it), and that I was the next job in line. I told them again I had to leave by 5:30 and they said they'd have to reschedule me for tomorrow (though, again, no specific time mentioned). Since I was next in line, I expected them first thing Thursday morning. I waited a few hours and finally called about 10:30 and left a message on their answering machine asking when I cold expect them to arrive. After waiting all day the previous day, I had things I needed to attend to, so at the very least I wanted to know when they were coming. I never got a return call, so I called again at 5 pm and left another message that I hadn't heard from anyone about when I could expect the crew today, so now I needed to know when I could expect their crew tomorrow. I couldn't believe it: still no response! I then followed up with an email to their web site about 9 pm. I then called again several times Saturday and left another message at 11 am, pointing out to them that their web site states and quot;our attentive staff is available Monday through Saturday to answer all of your questions and make sure you are 100% satisfied,and quot; and that I, in fact, was not. I then called again on Monday, leaving another message at 11 am. No response. I then called again on Tuesday, leaving another message at 11 am. No response. I wondered if they had gone out of business. I tried a few more times that week with both my cell phone and land-line, still getting their answering machine. Assuming they had caller-ID and weren't taking my phone calls, I finally had my wife call on her cell phone Friday, May 4, more than two weeks after the original job was scheduled. She managed to get a receptionist on the first try. I got on the phone and asked what the heck was going on. She couldn't tell me anything, but said she'd contact and quot;Steveand quot; (Trudell, apparently the owner) and have him get back to me. Never heard back. Called again Saturday, May 5 and got a receptionist. I told her I was following up on a job that was supposed to be done April 18. She said Steve got my message from yesterday and that a crew should be out and quot;sometime next weekand quot; (!), but that their work was real weather-dependent. I told her I had no interest at this point in them coming out and quot;sometimeand quot; next week, depending on the weather, when the job had been scheduled for three weeks earlier!!! Incredibly, she said and quot;You mean you don't want the job done?and quot; I said no, I simply wanted Steve to call me back to explain why in the world my job wasn't done on April 19, as it was supposed to be, and why I never heard back from anyone about rescheduling it despite calling numerous times, leaving half a dozen voice messages,and at least one email to their web site. I made doubly sure she had my name and number and that she would give it to Steve to get back to me. She assured me she did and would. Since I never heard back from anyone over the next 3-4 weeks, I finally submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau June 1. They also made several attempts to contact this company, but got no response. It's now mid-August, and neither I, nor the BBB, have heard back from anyone at this company. In the meantime, I called a reputable contractor (Hoppe Tree Service), who came out for the estimate precisely when they said they would, and did the job exactly when they said they would. Unfortunately, by not choosing a reliable contractor in the first place, I lost 5 weeks in getting the job done, including several days and a lot of aggravation waiting at home for a contractor that never showed up and never, ever explained why. Hopefully this review will help prevent others from making the same mistake.

After receiving estimate and approximate date of work, owner monitored weather and requested permission to start job days early due to inclement weather predicted. Trees were removed without damage to any other plantings in yard. Large trunks were hauled away the next day. A small area of cement driveway was damaged by a truck but it was patched promptly. Owner returned after inclement weather to grind more surface roots without being called (I moved chips myself and planted over stump areas, although he offered to give me info on a party that could do it and do landscaping if needed). Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

I contacted them 3 times to go out to a property I own in Milwaukee to give me an estimate to take down a tree that had fallen and was resting on my roof. One time I spoke with a person the other 2 times I left a message. I never received an estimate or even a call back to say they couldn't/wouldn't do the project.

I ended up using another company because they were a landscaping service as well.

They were reliable and came on time when they said they would be there. The quality of their work was very good and reasonable for the price. I would recommend them to everyone.
