Horrible customer service. Never called me one time in 10+ weeks after hiring them. Once plans were completed they could not even be built due to not being even close to code. Response was we do plans separate and do not talk to code enforcement or township. I.e. worthless plans and not willing to provide a refund. Complete lack of professionalism, zero communication skills and quite honestly lied to me when I went to their location in person and said miraculously they were reviewing my plans right then, after 6 weeks without a call or a word. Don’t spend you money for the frustration you will endure and unethical and unprofessional customer engagement. Run from this business as fast as you can.

It was completed in one day. Looks great. Took a long time to get on the list to get it done but well worth the wait.

I waited about a week after the check had gone through the bank and then e-mailed to ask if he had an estimate of when he would be able to do the work. He then apologized and said he'd made a mistake, that there would be an additional $187.50 for an electrician. This despite the fact that the quote I signed included: 6.) ELECTRICAL DISCONNECT AND HOOK UP NEW LIGHT. (And I'd read the instructions for the new cabinet, and as I pointed out to him, the new one simply plugs in to an outlet). That was the end of him doing the job. I might have been willing to work with him and split the difference, but it's just wrong to try to charge for something that was in the quote submitted. The reason I don't give him an F is because when he said the check (returning my downpayment) would be in the mail that day, it actually was. On a further note, on the two jobs I didn't choose to have him do. I chose another company on one because they specified the sizes and materials they would use, while he just put "gutter.". The other, an insulation job, I didn't have done at all, but the other person took a look in my attic to see what was there already and the condition. Mr. Wirtz only measured the house and didn't want to take the time to look in the attic.

Everything went well. There a few things that were overlooked on our part, not covered by the contract, that they were very good about taking care of for us.

Met Steve in spring 2015 at contractors fair. He advertised himself as a very experienced, reliable and successful contractor. I made an appointment for estimate, he came, took measurements, said that it would take 2(!) weeks to get back to me. I patiently waited, on the 3rd week called and asked again for an estimate. The secretary took my phone number and e-mail address again and promised that they will get back to me. Never heard from them, no call back, no explanation. I wasted almost a month with this company postponing the beginning of my project. On the positive side, it is a blessing in disguise when you can evaluate a contractor BEFORE getting involved with him and signing a contract. Just imagine that you have a problem on the job and this is the way the company responds. Very unreliable company, don't waste your time!

We've had a good experience with them. He knows what he's doing. He's pretty good. He relies on subcontractors, so there's some potential issues there. But for us, he's done a really good job. We were impressed with him. He came in and got it done quickly. It was a positive experience. They're probably not the cheaper people in town, but there could be issues with cheap. You get a decent value.

Steve and his crew did a very professional job. Left work area clean. On time and on budget. Listened to what we needed done and made some good suggestions. Would use again
