+ -1 moreI had met Jack from a neighbor. He is prompt when he makes an appointment. I needed someone to help me install some roman drapes that I got from Penney's. I couldn't manage the instructions my self, so I needed help. I called Jack and he had some free time in a few days and would stop by. He did and I showed him what I needed. He agreed to the work and started it the next week. I had 11 windows that needed this work. He and his son did the work. He was on time. He cleaned up after himself, I found no trash from the drapes. I paid him and that was that. Since then Jack has replaced the windows, put in a bathroom on the main floor and sided the garage that my family literally built for me. I know that any time I can call Jack for help. He even stopped by on Sunday because I had a clogged toilet that I could not clear. He got it cleared in 5 minutes. He wouldn't accept payment for that and said that I could call any time I needed work done. He also built me a back deck.
Description of Work: Jack installed 5 replacement windows for my downstairs area. I live in a house built in1901 and I have replaced all of the windows at various times, always using Jack. He gets his windows from ABC Windows. I have only one minor complaint, he doesn't call when he said that he would and his documentation is a mess. When I first started the whole window replacement project, he took me to ABC windows and showed me the options. I appreciated that he let me see. I chose Anderson vinyl windows for my living room and other Vinyl windows, with a lifetime warranty, for the rest of the house. The house is much quieter now and there are no drafts in the winter. Jack has done a lot of major and minor work for me. I trust him in my house, whether or not I am here. He gets along great with my dog.
