Ideal Roofing and Construction

We had a bunch of storm damage due to high winds and we were referred to Ideal roofing by a family friend who was very pleased with their work. Thank goodness! They sent a crew out to not only tarp the roof, but they repaired damaged plywood sheeting, sealed it in a ice preventative wrap, and then properly fastened a tarp which lasted over a month (without any issues) while we worked with our insurer. Once we aligned with our insurance we knew we would only hire Ideal. They were easy to get ahold of, knowledgeable, and despite all of our questions very helpful while we selected which type and style of roof we wanted. They dropped sample shingles and flashing materials off at our home so we could pick what colors we liked. It really doesn't get much easier than that. They had stock of the shingles, membrane material, and aluminum flashing (which they custom bend) we chose, and gave us an estimated start date. Since roofing is weather dependent they stayed in contact with us (great communication) and we knew exactly when they were going to start our roof about two weeks later. I was impressed with how quickly they worked and how well they cleaned up when they finished. They were curtious and polite, each day using a magnet to scan the grass around the house, and picking up the little bits of shingle that had fallen from the days work. I'll admit it, it's nice to have a contractor that respects your home and yard while they work on it. The workers were nice to my family and kids (we have a 2 and 4 year old) and didn't mind if I had the dogs running around outside while they worked. The kids actually really liked watching the crew as they would wave (like little kids do) and the fellas on the roof would always wave back. The kids thought it was the neatest thing. As the work progressed over the three days they gave us updates on their progress and what to expect the next day. It went fast, and it was exciting to see the house transform the way it did! The last day I climbed up on the roof from our attic (to see what it looked like while they finished) and I was surprised to see all the attention to detail they put into trimming & flashing the aluminum. The caulking (where it was required) was clean and smooth, the membrane portion of our roof was perfect, and the shingles surrounding plumbing boots and vents were cut to fit. They made the effort to paint our plumbing vents (the pipes sticking up through the roof) to match the color of our new shingles, as well as all the all of the attic and bathroom vents. You barely notice the vents and pipes now from the ground. To me, it's the little things like that which tell me a crew takes pride in their work, and I was very happy to see it on our home. Our expierience was nothing short of excellent. I'd recommend Ideal roofing to anyone who's looking for a contractor who simply knows what it means to do good work and treat their customers right.

Ordered 13 windows 7/09 desert sand color.8/01 windows arrived stark white,and didn't match my house I just painted! 9/09 window crashed down on my cat with no warning injuring her.9/09 called Jason and told him I needed the windows taken out as they were very dangerous, and clearly weren't the quality I paid for.He said he would get back to me, but never did. Every time I call him he has an excuse.In one year I have had 4 windows break 5 times.I paid my full years salary for these crappy windows, that I now have to live with for the rest of my life.It isn't fair.He broke my neighbors window and refuses to fix it.I will have to pay to have it repaired.He's arrogant,screams at his employees, and can't keep the same help.I had to pay another contractor to fix all of his screw ups.DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE WITH SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS AT AN OUTRAGEOUS PRICE.THIS MAN, LIES, LIES, LIES .BEWARE!!!!!
