Robert P Schmitz is the owner. He is very nice, but hard to get a hold of. I would use him again in the future if need be.

smoothly. Also, very pleasant owner/operator did the work. have had him for years. Reliable.

I called Bob Monday (referred by another Angie's list company), and he asked me to call him back when I got home from work, so he could walk me through a couple of questions, such as the model or the opener, and making sure the door is set to manual so he could get in when I was not there. I did call that night a couple of hours apart (both before 8 which he specific as the latest time to call). I hoped he'd call back the next day, but he never did. Unless he lost my number from the daytime call, doesn't have caller ID, and I mumbled too much in my voice mail messages, he has the number. I won't make assumptions as to why he didn't call back, but I am disappointed. I found another provider.

Garage door opener failed on a Friday night. Called on Saturday, he did the replacement on Tuesday. No problems at all, new unit works great. Very reasonably priced. Prompt and courteous service. I had used Schmitz about 10 years ago when my garage door had broke and I couldn't even lift it manually. Every other place said 1-2 weeks before they could come out, I believe Bob came out the day I called and got it open for me. Shortly thereafter I had him replace the entire door and am very happy with it.

Very efficient - called him, set an appointment within next few days, work was done while we were not even home and bill was left.

I called Schmitz and told them the problem. They explained exactly how to fix it and encouraged me to try it myself. If I couldn't do it, they were going to come out and do it for me for a reasonable price. Very honest. Would call again.

I phoned yesterday and he came today. He analyzed the problem and had it fixed in jig time. Bob is a very nice man I will certainly ask him to come back if we have any further problems.

He did a very good job, was very professional, and got the door working better then I have ever seen it work. He installed new weather stripping on the bottom of my shop door. He was also punctual, did excellent work at reasonable price.

He was very knowledge and informative, and he was quick. He did a great job, he is very safe, and very creative.
