I would recommend them. They did excellent work. They were on time and very professional. They knew how to correct the problems. They had a lot of experience. They were very good at adapting and overcoming problems. I was very pleased with their work.

After over an hour, the Benjamin plumber did NOT find the real leak. He said he thought it was caused by improper grouting around the nozzle. After we had that done by a handyman, the area underneath the sink continued to be wet. The leak was found a fixed by a friend of ours who's a contractor, in less than 15 minutes, using only a flashlight. We will never use Benjamin Plumbing again...

We had a leak from our laundry hook ups which resulted in a leak on the story below. Of course we discovered the issue on the weekend which means a higher hourly rate. James was our plumber and did an excellent job! He described the problem and the two possible scenarios and worked quite quickly. He also showed both my husband and I how to properly turn off the water main and gave us recommendations on when to turn it off to avoid future problems (e.g. when you go on vacation). Unfortunately, our issue happened on the weekend and thus we were charged for them to come to our house and were charged time and a half so the whole ordeal was a bit more than we had expected for a somewhat straight forward problem. However, that's just how it goes outside of normal working hours. We were very happy with the service and would highly recommend them to others. A good plumber is very important and they definitely are!

I've been thinking the toilet needed to be replaced, but was hoping to wait until the rest of the bathroom could get an overhaul. Well, it turns out I had a clog that I couldn't undo. I suspected the trip charge might as well include the replacement of the toilet. Benjamin Plumbing was able to schedule me the same day as well as promising to give me a call at work in plenty of time for me to get home to meet the plumber. He was extremely professional - didn't make a mess at all, was conversational and did an excellent job. He was quick too. I was back at work within 1.5 hours.

It's a family business and Benjamin is their last name. The overall experience with them was very good. They were very prompt and were easy to work with.

The trip charge for service is $44. and the minimal labor charge $101.00. While reasonable from the standard trade billing, this is costly when the plumbing repairs are so minimal. I can't fault the service person for this; I would, in the future, question, more knowledgably, the company's showroom sales personnell when being shown faucets for future installation. We have used this company in the past for both major remodeling and more minor repairs and servicing of already installed plumbing and fixtures. I will continue to use the company; however, given the basic billing for trip charge and labor, I'd hope to contact the company for service only when I had multiple issues for them to address. In this case, the leaking faucet needed immediate attention to prevent water damage to the undersink cabinet. the serviceman was obviously extremely knowledgable, covered his shoes when entering the house, left the work areas clean, and respected me as a customer who had significant experience with remodeling and maintaining homes and the fixtures within them.

Went well overall. I contacted them via email a few times, they always responded via phone within two business hours. Person sent was early, (but called before coming), was polite, quick, clean, and professional. Payment was quick and overall it was a very smooth experience.

I was impressed with Benjamin Plumbing from the start. I emailed through Angie's List in the late evening, and received a prompt phone call the following morning to schedule an appointment. They could come out within 2 days. I scheduled for 9-11, but then the next day I realized I had a schedule conflict and called them back. They were gracious and quickly changed my time for a little later in the day, and even thanked me for calling. I was given a 10:30-12 time slot. At 10:32, I received a call from their scheduler, saying that the plumber was just finishing another job and would be here shortly. He was here less than 15 minutes later. Jim (the plumber) took a look at the faucet and said it wasn't worth a repair, but should be replaced. He humored me by talking to my husband on the phone so they could talk jargon. He replaced the faucet, as well as added an on/off valve on the interior of the house within an hour. When he was finished, he asked me to come out and look at it so that he could give me a few tips, and asked if I had any questions. When I was confused, he re-explained so that I would understand, and he always made me feel comfortable asking any other questions.

The serviceman was able to fix the problem while saving a large piece of tile in the shower which will be reinstalled when the drywall is fixed. Damage to the drywall was minimal.

I very much liked that they came over when they said they would, they were on time and called to make sure I was home. I knew what the problem was, but he took a look and explained it to me to confirm. He was pretty fast, it only took about 40 minutes. He also fixed a leak in my sink as part of the job, which I hadn't expected. It was a very good experience and he was very nice, fast, and efficient.

They sent a plumber out who did not find the leak. They billed me for that. We called them again and they sent a different person out for the second time and they then diagnosed it properly. They billed us for it the second time. We called and they agreed that we should not be billed the second time. We were very pleased with them removing the second billing. We feel that they provided great customer service because of that and we would use them again.

They're on time, never any surprises, they clean up after themselves.

My overall experience with Benjamin Plumbing gave me the impression that they are extremely professional, take a lot of pride in their work and are courteous. A well-run organization. Lee Benjamin arrived right on time for our appointment to fix a leak in the bathtub drain. Diagnosed the problem quickly, and what I thought would be a major repair needed only a minor fix. Lee was a professional in every way - clearly explained what needed to be done and what I should watch out for in the future. Quite efficient, and he left the work area cleaner than it had been when he arrived. Seems a bit pricey, but considering the time and effort it would have taken me to diagnose and fix the leak, it was worth it. The cost is in line with standards of the profession. When he finished before his hour was up (they charge an hourly fee even if the repair takes only 30 minutes), he helped me with a couple of other minor projects.

It took a long time to get a bid out of them. It wasn't the right bid. They were supposed to be three separate aspects of the project and they only put one price.

We originally called a different plumber to fix our leaky faucet. They scheduled an appointment for us for 2 days later in the morning. That day, the hours passed and it was nearly noon and we hadn't heard from anyone so we called. The office manager said they must've gotten busy with their first job, but gave no indication of when we could expect the plumber or whether anyone would call to keep us informed. We were not impressed. We decided to cancel the appointment with that plumber and call Benjamin Plumbing instead. They literally showed up 7 minutes later and took care of the problem. How's that for service? The plumber was friendly and knowledgeable and put covers on his shoes to protect our carpeting.

Fantastic. I told the man that I wanted new toilets but didn't have time to go look. He called his company, recommended a couple of toilets, gave me prices and had the toilets delivered that day for installation. Very helpful. Everything is now working great.

They were really nice and gave me a referral for someone to clear an outside drain. They are very good at calling back in a timely manner. They are very professional.

I called Benjamin Plumbing June 29 to request a repair of a ballcock arm which had broken off and which prohibited use of the toilet. The person with whom I spoke said they were short staffed because of the start of the holiday weekend, but would try to arrange for a call as soon as possible. A couple of hours later, Ken Yager called me from another job to advise he would be responding to my call and estimated a time of arrival (within the hour). He arrived as promised, quickly replaced the ballcock unit in the toilet and tested the new unit several times before leaving. The installation took no more than 15 minutes and he was pleasant and professional throughout.

It was great. We just moved into a house that had lots of little plumbing problems throughout. He moved quickly from job to job, diagnosing and fixing problems one right after the other. The way he fixed things exceeded my expectations. In the end it was slightly more expensive than I expected, but when I did a little hunting online, it was within a reasonable price range, so I have to give it an A for price (see below).

The whole thing really turned out to be pretty funny because I actually remember that a while back I had loosened it now. The guy that came out was really helpful and useful for future problems I may have.
