,My A/C unit stopped working late in the day during the July heat wave of 100 degree days. I called the R.A. Heating emergency call number and Russ promptly called me back. Even though it was late in the evening and he had just returned to the shop, he came out to help. Upon his arrival, he quickly checked the unit, diagnosed the problem and made the repair.

Took 2 days. No problems.

Our air conditioner was broken and RA Heating and Air Conditioning promptly scheduled an appointment to come look at the problem and provide us with an estimate for a new one. I was having a party at my house the following weekend and they accommodated this situation and installed my new Carrier Air Conditioner the NEXT DAY! The service people were on time and very pleasant. Everyone from the estimator to the office staff was great to work with. I did get estimates from other Heating and Air Conditioning businesses in the area and RA gave me the best estimate by far.

They were great. I was at work and had to come home to open the house for them. They showed up on time. They were also neat and wore booties on their shoes to not track dirt. They cleaned up well and did a good job. I left while they were here and when I got back everything was clean. They came back to do a general maintenance to make sure everything was working properly. They have always been very responsive to any questions I've had.

Fast, friendly service, lucky for us he had the part in the truck so we didn't have to wait all weekend during a heat wave to get our AC back! Would for sure use them in the future, and recommend them to others.

They were $2000 cheaper than another company we were planning to go with. They were incredible. We were using another company previously for the maintenance work and we really liked them, but $2000 made the difference. They did a very good job.

They did a really nice job. They made us aware of an extra rebate we could get from the furnace manufacturer. They were very prompt. They gave us an extra filter to use next year. They just went above and beyond anything I expected.

RA Heating was a five star operation from start to finish. To accommodate my schedule they came out on a Saturday afternoon to provide an estimate and arrived exactly at the appointed time (despite the technician shuffling between his kids' soccer games). The quoted price was more than 10% below two other estimates. The two installlers, Ian and Corey, couldn't have been more professional, polite and hard working. My husband who is a licensed home inspector was also very impressed with the quality of their work and their knowledge. They finished the job in one day leaving no sign of their presence except a new furnace and air conditioning unit. We are very pleased with this company and their service.

On our first fairly cold day of the season our furnace stopped heating because it was blowing internal fuses. I tried the easy stuff such as changing fuses and checking wires to thermostat. Had to call a pro. They arrived 2 hours after our call. They spent a lot of time troubleshooting. The whole time they were very open to discuss what we did and our thoughts. Because of their willingness to listen they figured out that the wiring of the original install was done incorrectly and was blowing fuses with our new thermostat. We were only charged the trip charge despite spending a lot of time and no cost for all the fuses blown in testing. I would have easily paid for a new control board if he would have said that was the problem. Wonderful

When I called RA to get an estimate on replacing my old furnace, the receptionist was very polite and cheery. She scheduled a prompt in-house visit for the estimate early the next week. Ryan arrived a few minutes early of the scheduled time. He did a thorough investigation of the existing system, inside and out. Before completing the estimate he spent a long time (almost too long ~1.5 hrs) explaining all of the different options that were available and answering my questions. He was very straight forward about my questions regarding competitors' product lines, and explaining any differences in his bid versus ones from other companies. RA was also right on top of the tax-rebates that were available to me. When I decided to go with RA, they scheduled an installation time less than one week later. The two man crew arrived right on time and went straight to work. They started at 8:30am, and finished 1.5hours before their estimated finish time. The crew was courteous, and efficient. Once the work was complete, one of their workers walked me through how to use the new thermostat, how to change the filters, and even how to troubleshoot if the furnace ever encountered problems. They left their work area cleaner than when they arrived. The job came in right on estimate. They were priced similarly to their other major competitors, but they threw in a new thermostat for free, and also had a $200 discount for Angie's List members, making them cheaper.

They were very acquainted with this particular equipment. They were very efficient and thorough in doing the furnace inspection and cleaning. Interestingly, after I had found them on Angie’s List and had decided to go with them, I recognized that they were the providers that were actually servicing this house since it was built 30 to 40 years ago. This house was built with two heating and cooling zones. I was very satisfied with the work on the furnaces; however, the solution proposed for the air conditioner may have been appropriate but it involved major replacement of stuff. Their quality was excellent.

Great from start to finish. A principal of the company came to the house to do a walk-through. He answered all my questions, explained options, and made recommendations but with no hard sell. Within a day, I had a complete written estimate in the mail, outlining exactly what they would provide in detail. They created a base proposal for the items I knew I had to have (furnace "banging" fix, humidifier, and air filter unit), and listed additional items and associated costs per item that I could add on if I wished to. I returned the signed proposal. When I hadn't heard back in a day or so regarding scheduling the work, I called RA. Due to a vacation, the paperwork hadn't gotten processed; they were apologetic. Despite being a non-emergency job at the height of the heating season, they were able to do the job within a week's time. The work was completed as described, and everyone I dealt with at RA was extremely cordial and helpful. Two items of note: one of the installers was unfamiliar with the furnace (an off brand) and when installing the humidifier, accidentally crossed wires which blew a part that needed replacing in order for the furnace to work. RA called one of their senior technicians to the house who diagnosed the problem, went to get the necessary part, and had my heat back on within two hours. The only part of the experience that could have been improved: the kitchen porcelain tile had to be cut to fit a new vent. A sheet or tarp over the immediate work area might have prevented distribution of the fine dust that's unavoidable when sawing that material. I had a little clean-up to do, but that was the only clean-up--RA left the rest of their work areas immaculate. If I ever have need for HVAC services again, I'll be calling RA.

Did a great job of explaining options and differences on the estimate. Not only the lowest bid by thousands (and I didn't go for the low-end models), but excellent service. Install was scheduled quickly, on time and staff were friendly and knowledgable.

I requested cleaning and inspection of my gas hot water boiler.. Bill, the serviceman, spent 2/3/4 hours very thoroughly checking out all parts of the system. He also prepared a very complete report of all that he had done.

The blower on our central air was making terrible metal grinding sounds. I called R.A. Heating to ask if they could sell me a replacement motor. Rachel pleasantly answered the phone and asked if Keith, one of her technicians, could call me back. Keith called me back minutes later and patiently listened to my description of the horrible sounds our central air was making. It was his professional opinion that it was not the motor but the squirrel cage fan. He was right and even delivered the part to our house. Excellent, friendly service.

We called late afternoon during a very hot and humid time. They were very busy but assured us they would come the next day. They kept in touch with us to let us know exactly when the technician would arrive. Although he had had a very long day, he was very friendly, helpful and informative.

We recommended them to our family.
