house cleaning, home & garage organization
+ 0 moreMost recent was a complete garage reorganization that included cleaning walls and ceiling, hauling debris to the recycling center and packing up things for winter storage. We had an accumulation of used and broken gardening pots, toys, tools, etc. They cheerfully sorted through everything without judgement, following the general storage plan I laid out. They didn't throw anything away without being sure I didn't want it. Megan in particular is a whiz at sorting and cleaning as she goes. While Megan was fine tuning the tool bench Brandon used the time to clean up in the yard, bringing in all of the ornaments and tools for the season, packing them up for storage, and raking out some of the flower beds. He picked up all of the rakings and blew out the driveway without being asked. They then helped me haul everything to our storage unit where Megan again organized everything so it was accessible but with no wasted space. My only regret is that i have not been using them for these types of chores all along.
Description of Work: First Impressions Cleaning has been assisting with our housekeeping for about three years. Their services include general housecleaning: vacuuming, mop, dust, etc. They are very clear about what will be done in routine cleaning and very flexible if we sometimes have something we want given extra care or skipped. They schedule with some flexibility for weekly or bi-weekly service as well as special one time projects. They are very accurate with their scheduling. First Impressions has experience in pre and post occupancy cleaning for those on the move. Their additional skills include heavier work such as garage, basement, and closet cleaning and organizing. What I consider important is that in all the times they have been here, and I'm usually home, is that they have never said one word about any of their other clients or their houses. You can count on First Impressions to be professional and discreet. There has been considerable illness in our household and they have always been careful and considerate to not disturb the sick one. However, no matter how many times I have asked, they will not clear up my ironing pile.
