+ -1 moreEverything went as expected. No surprises. The technician arrived on time and the service performed was exactly as described during my initial contact with the business. After the site survey was completed I asked for an estimate should I decide to go ahead with an antenna installation. The estimate provided seemed fair to me.
Description of Work: This business was able to do a site survey to determine whether TV signals can be received at my home location. This is a surprisingly difficult service to find! The technician actually climbed up on my roof and used a signal strength meter to determine what stations could be received as well as the best placement of an antenna.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. He got here on time and spent over an hour trying to determine what the problem was. He gave an honest evaluation and didn't try to talk me into any specific course of action. I felt that the service charge was fair, and less than the other two places I was considering.
Description of Work: Our Samsung HD TV lost its picture but still had sound. We contacted Best Buy and they referred us to the Geek Squad. However, they charge a $158.00 trip charge, which is excessive. I found ApplianceWorks in the phone book and made an appointment with them. I don't remember the name of the repairman, but he removed the back of the TV and tested the main board. He determined that the main board was probably bad and that it needed to be replaced. We decided not to go that route because of the cost of the board and the labor cost to install it.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went very well. They were professional on the phone and so was the technician. He arrived on time, was professional and quick. He successfully got the job done and I was very pleased.
Description of Work: Our Frigidaire would not dispense ice cubes, only ice chips. A part needed to be fixed. The gentleman took it apart and fixed the part. The dispenser now dispenses ice cubes.
