The inspection was thorough.

Doug was extremely thorough and quick to schedule our appointment, he walked us throughout the house and pointed out areas of concern as well as benifits of the house, He was happy to awnser any questions we had, and was quick with getting the inspection report back to us. Doug was professional and well spoken during the entire process. He had the report to us within 24 hours of his visit. He was early to the appointment and ready to go which we arrived. Will gladly use his services again and will be recommending him to anyone who is in need of his services.

He inspected a house that I had put an offer on. He was VERY prompt in responding to my inquiry to do the inspection and was early to the property appt and extremely thorough. I was at the house while he was there and he let me know everything he was doing and explained himself very well when I asked a question. I highly recommend Doug and A-1 Home inspection!

Wrote up a great report with pictures to show the items that would need to be repaired, commented in his report what was a safety issue and what items we could take care of later if we should purchase the home.

Excellent. They were truly an exceptional inspector to work with. They were very helpful with walking me through the property and explaining any concerns in great detail. When they saw potential issues with the home, they informed me of a number of different options to remediate the problems. Overall it was a great learning experience for a first-time home buyer.

He did an amazing job. He was very professional and he explained everything to me in great detail. He noticed things that I didn't even slightly pick up walking through the house. I was very pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone!

Doug did a thorough inspection of the house and made reasonable recommendations. He makes a fair and reasonable assessment of the house and provides ideas on how to fix some issues. He was not one of the referred inspectors by my realtor. That's one of the reasons I picked him because he will have an unbiased inspection.

When we arrived Doug had started the inspection. He was happy to go over everything he had already looked at and continue the inspection with us there. He pointed out every little detail he could and made sure to answer any questions we had. He also had great recommendations on what we could do to do repairs on our own. The inspection report was about 50 pages of detailed information and helped a ton when negotiating with the seller. As a first time home buyer or for any home buyer I would definitely recommend his service!

It went fantastic. Doug is very easy to work with and he goes out of his way to work with you in finding a time for your inspection. He is extremely thorough and found several things I wouldn't have noticed. He went room by room and explained everything he found to be in working order and explained why something was not and what the potential problems could be. I would give Doug an A+ for sure! So may of these inspectors do a quick, not so good job. Doug is at the other end of the spectrum. He is very knowledgeable and is always making sure you know which items aren't safe. I would use Doug's services again and would definitely recommend him to others!

This is far and away the most thorough and comprehensive home inspection we have ever had. Doug spent more than 3 hours inspecting every inch of the exterior and interior of the house we're purchasing in Hudson, Wisconsin. My husband attended the inspection, and Doug allowed him to follow along as he explained what he was inspecting and his findings. He didn't just look at the roof with binoculars - he climbed up and walked around on it. The day after the inspection, he e-mailed us a 35-page inspection report, complete with color photos. He photographed every item that he felt needed repair and explained what needed to be done and why. Doug was professional, on-time and extremely helpful. From the initial contact through the final inspection report, he exceeded our expectations. When I called Doug, explaining that we wanted to schedule a home inspection as soon as possible so that my husband could be there (we're moving from out of state), he said that although he was booked for the coming week, he would squeeze us in late in the afternoon 4 days later. Over the years, we've bought and sold 6 houses in different parts of the country and have never encountered a better inspector. We highly recommend A+ Home Inspection!

He arrived at the home almost 2 hours early and had already done the inspection when we got there. He was very detailed and he was very easy to talk to. The best part was that I called him on a Friday and he was to do the inspection on that next Sunday.

Doug is incredibly careful and thorough. (Some might term this "nit picky," but when you're buying a house, that's what you want!)
