+ -1 moreRepairman was running late but called to let me know. When he arrived, he was professional and knowledgeable--answered all my questions. In addition to fixing the oven he adjusted all the range burners. He was at my house for less than an hour, but I was billed for 1.5 hours of labor. When I called to ask about this I was told that this includes driving time. I'm not sure if this was explained up front (my wife made the appt and she couldn't recall if it was mentioned).
Description of Work: Repaired LP gas oven that was not starting/lighting reliably.

+ -1 moreSERVICE PERSON WAS NICE, POLITE, BUT THAT IS ABOUT IT, WAITING A MONTH AND SOME TO GET A PART AND NOT RETURNING SOME OF MY CALLS, I THINK WAS VERY, VERY POOR BUSINESS.
Description of Work: MY DOUBLE OVEN WOULD NOT HEAT, SO I CALLED OUR ELECTRIC COMPANY THAT PROVIDES ELECTRICITY FOR OUR COUNTY. (THE REASON I CALLED THEM IS BECAUSE OUR ELECTRIC COMPANY THAT DOES REPAIR WORK NO LONGER DOES APPLIANCES.) THEY RECOMMENDED PIERCE-PEPIN, THEY SELL AND REPAIR OVENS ETC. PIERCE-PEPIN WAS VERY PROMPT IS GETTING BACK TO ME, LOOKED AT THE OVEN, TESTED IT AND SAID THAT I NEEDED A PART THAT PROBABLY WOULD BE VERY EXPENSIVE. THEY CALLED BACK TO TELL US IT WOULD BE $350. WE SAID OK, HE SAID HE WOULD CALL WHEN IT CAME IN. THAT WAS IN JUNE, NEVER CALLED BACK, I CALLED SEVERAL MORE TIMES WITH NO RETURN CALLS, I FINALLY GOT A CALL BACK AND THEY SAID THE PART WOULD BE IN SOON AND WOULD CALL. NO CALL. I CALLED AND CANCELLED IT THE END OF JULY. I CALLED ANOTHER APPLIANCE REPAIR, HE CAME SAME DAY, TOLD ME I DID NOT NEED THAT PART, ONLY PROBLEM WAS TO RESET A BREAKER SWITCH, HE SAVED ME ALMOST $400. HIS BILL WAS $68. GLAD PIERCE-PEPIN NEVER CALLED!!!!!!!!!!!!
