RJR Decorating Painting & More

This was an excellent experience. From the time we made the initial appointment to the completion of the job, Robert and his team always showed up on time and did an excellent job with the painting. Robert, the owner was on the job the entire time and offered excellent suggestions on the color combinations. It was nice to work with a true proffessional. When we need additional painting done, I will hire RJR Decorating to do the work.

I was very satisfied with work done by RJR. Our home in Elkhorn is a summer lake house making these projects difficult to coordinate given our limited availability. Robert was very responsive and flexible working around our schedule to estimate, consult and do the actual work on time and on budget. We had a pretty good ideas of paint colors going into the project, Robert stopped by a couple of times ahead of the project to help us tweak our color chose to better match the other features of the space. The room is almost all windows or cabinets so it involved a lot of cutting in. Despite this, I can?t find a single mistake the work is perfect. In the end the project turned out amazing. I would use RJR again without hesitation and would happily recommend RJR to others.

Robert responded quickly to my online inquiry and came out to take a look and give us a quote. We accepted the quote and set up a time for the job to be done. In the meantime, we had our garage door replaced and Robert came out to stain it. We kept in touch by email and phone, and the house staining was done as planned. We are very happy with the way it looks.

Rob did a great job painting areas affected by water damage. You can't tell any water stains were on the ceiling now and the colors we picked out look great. I'll be calling him back this fall to do more painting. Great experience.

Rob was a pleasure to work with. Not only is he punctual, professional and accommodating, he does a great job. We had originally hired Rob to paint the ceilings, stairwell, halls and two rooms. We were so pleased with his work , we asked him to paint more rooms. We were fortunate that he could fit everything into his schedule. We definitely would hire Rob again.

He was on time, cordial, and professional. He did a great job at a fair price and finished rather quickly. I would recommend them to anyone.

It was a lot of patching (pulled out a whole closet system) and it turned out beautifully. Can't even see the patched spots and some were large in the closet where a dryer vent used to be. 2 walls were dark and 2 light in the bedroom, and there are clean corners and no bleeding between the 2 colors. With this job I supplied all the paint. (I had bought it previously thinking I was going to paint it myself, LOL) The job turned out great and I was very appreciative of Rob's willingness to sneak our smaller job between his larger jobs and still get the room done in a timely manner! Thank you!

We'd gotten one quote from another painter that was referred by a friend, and one quote from RJR (whom we found on Angie's List.) RJR's quote was quite a bit lower, which made me a little nervous at first. But I will tell you the job they did was hands down the best painting I've ever experienced in the 20 years I've been a home owner. The ceilings were immaculate, the trim work was beautifully done, the walls were flawless, and every line was absolutely perfect. The job was done over the course of 5 days by 3 men who were on time every day, very courteous and professional, and who always left our house spotless at the end of the day. I would absolutely recommend RJR, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Returned calls always. On time always. Cleanup-spotless. His price was lower than the estimate. He charged me less. And he used good pain products. Great! I have used him over the past 15 years. He doesn't advertise as he gets his jobs by word of mouth. He is 3 months out on jobs.
