Definitely NOT recommended! Check the company out on th BBB website. Beware of: - cheap bids with ovlerly short time estimates to make the sale. - rushed into making a quick decision (thus circumventing time to do proper research) - extremely brief contract detail with no mention of completion time & only the briefest of detail of what was verbally agreed to (to minimize lawsuits). - most agreed to yet undocumented on the contract items not done - some of the detail of the documented work was also not done (eg attaching the wall liner to the wall) - supposedly due to the hardware not being available. Yet when provided with available access despite promises to the contrary, again never showed up to complete the job. - No written warranty - because there is none - despite verbal ball-face lies that there is. If you do hire them make sure not to pay in full before every last detail is done or you'll be finishing it yourself. Jim Mullen at first comes off very nice, competent; willing to please. As time wears on that quickly disapates - along with him or any of the temp workers he hires to do the actual labor. Over time they come less frequently; continually shorter intervals, thus the week estimate remains incomplete 3+ months later after a slew of excuses, broken promises, hang-up; unanswered phone calls; emails (for me and $ the BBB). Ditto for warranty issues. His latest excuse to the BBB was that there was never any completion date agreement - which is a complete lie. Initially it was a week (which would've been mid May 2016), then again a verbal agreement of July 4, 2016. It's now 8/28/2016 yet the original work is still not done & now there are warrant issuers with water leaking again too. His workers used my tools - without even asking in most instances and ruined some. The plumber and electrition he said he'd hire never showed - so to expedite the work I did all that work with no reduction in the invoice. The workers wrecked my furnace fuel line - but as Craftsmen is not licensed for that work Mr Mullen wouldn't fix it - nor reimburse me for the costs to fix it. And though promising to do so, he never even showed up to re-bury the line in the cement floor. Again due to excuses that his cement saw was broken. The absolute worst contractor experience I've ever had...

It went horrible. First of all, it started at $13,000 and I told him I can get it done for 4800. He came down to 6000 saying it is the same thing badger basements would do and added a few insulation things in. He also agreed to move the furnace to get entire perimeter. When the time came for that furnace he said he was going to dig über and leave it. I told him no and that the edging wouldn't be under the concrete there and also the weep holes wouldnt be in the concrete. From that point on he was disrespectful to me. All he did was move the cold air return and did a horrible job. He poured concrete and then re installed it immediately. He didn't smooth out concrete underneath and also didn't even install cold air return properly. He dug up the perimeter and noticed there was no gravel and that was the main problem. My floor was covered in cracks. His job didn't solve any problems. Our basement flooded again and I had to make several calls to get him to answer and come back. Btw this is a lifetime warrantied job. He finally came in and said we need to add more drain tile in the middle. He wanted 2600 more for that and I said I think we need another put as well he wanted 2600 additional for that as well. I had to bring in another company to look at it and said the floor needed to be removed and gravel had to be brought in to properly drain under the cracked concrete that had no gravel. I asked how much to go what craftsmen concrete wanted and he said 2400 for drain tile in middle and for the pit which craftsmen wanted 5200. But the other company said that would not solve the problem. I would never go with craftsmen concrete and he is a hack of a company. Don't trust anything this guy says.
